Our daughter chose this for her wedding venue, and it couldn't have gone smoother. We arrived the night before staying in a good sized room with beautiful coastal views. The wedding itself was expertly managed from start to finish. Wonderful day thanks to the dedicated staff.
Very Friendly disposition and very warm welcome from staff. Staff are very approachable and professional. Thank you Lisaworks in bar area for your excellent customer service. Also, the staff from reception Stephanie and Charlotte your eagerness to assist us and your contagious lovely smiles from staff. It made us want to come back in the future. Had very affordable and sumptous afternoon tea. Keep it up guys! Thank you.
Our second visit to this hotel. We had a lovely sea view and took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi. The staff are pleasant and the rooms generously sized. If you can, go for a suite with panoramic views, but our superior double on this visit was still very good.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed for Christmas for the price we couldn't complain. Bit disappointed the restaurant wasn't open. Drinks were quite expensive. Overall we had a lovely stay. Room was very big very clean and very comfy. We stayed here just after covid and had no housekeeping. I had a feeling they wouldn't resume after covid. I'm fine with that and if you need anything reception staff were happy to help. We will be back again. Think we need loyalty points
Meet some old friends here for a chat and a catch-up. We had a bit to eat and a drink which was all very good. The food portions were excellent and good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. Service: 5/5
Lovely place on Seaburn seafront. Rooms are dated but clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful which is a massive bonus. I'd recommend the suites. The views are brilliant. I've lived in Sunderland all my life but still stay here. The surrounding resteraunts are brilliant and good value !
We booked an afternoon tea with use of leisure facilities, the changing rooms were disgusting, used towels on baby pen, toilets messed up with one seat off not that I could have used it anyway it was filthy. The pool and jacuzzi was nice no issues, staff pleasant enough, however once in restaurant the order had been put down as two not four people so they hadn't done enough food for 4, Tony although nice got our drinks mixed up and we weren't allowed any top up of refreshments despite one, my complaint about changing rooms and two, initially got order wrong. I would have thought they could do a few more sandwiches as compo! Anyway all in all the state of the changing rooms has absolutely put me off and will definitely not be visiting again
Staff are lovely, rooms fabulous for price, but sadly no atmosphere in bar, too light need tea lights & light music. Restaurant far too light & again no atmosphere. Events team need a get together maybe a dj for later and cocktail offers. Loved the early bird drinks special need an early bird meal option too & maybe have a child area as spoilt our romantic evening with kids screaming in bar & front door left open so awful draft. Could be lovely
Second stay and the staff have been consistently excellent. Late arrival was no problem and nothing too much trouble. Room was clean, generous in size and comfortable, extra heating supplied for the wintery condition’s much appreciated. The only issue we had was noise. Loud talking and even shouting, along with children running up and down the corridors both very early and very late at night was infuriating. But understandably not something the hotel can do much about. Worth keeping in mind if you’re after a quiet stay or need to get a decent nights sleep and your stay is during a busy time of year. Hotel etiquette and consideration for others is clearly lost on some guests.
When we arrived we were given a room on the top floor, which was too hot to sleep on and no air conditioning. After speaking with the receptionist, she moved us to b as cooler room, which was fabulous. The staff were excellent.Rooms: 4/5
