Help us save the Britions Arms for Norwich

Story

Local People and the current restaurateurs of the Britons Arms are fighting to save this iconic building from going to auction where it could be lost to the city of Norwich.

"This iconic building should not be going to auction. I can understand the need for immediate revenue when councils are under economic duress, but we must think of the future - It would be a profound loss to the city if this historic landmark building were to be sold on the open market at auction" - Thorpe Hamlet Councillors Lesley Grahame and Peter Offord

Delicious homemade food, friendly service and in a lovely part of the city. I would heartily recommend.
Lovely place with friendly staffs
Lovely thatched coffee house in a unique part of Norwich. The food is all homemade and really tasty.
Thanks to excellent food, service and location, we enjoyed the rainy day.
The cafe its self is great. Wonderful historic location. The cake was delicious, the coffee was good. But the female customer who had a go at us for talking too loud kind of sucked. My dad who I was with is hard of hearing, and everyone else in the cafe was was collectively making much more noise than us.
The employee Clare was commendable. An asset to this Coffee Shop/Restaurant. Elm Hill is one of the oldest pathways which also includes The Teddy Bear Shop.
Lovely good sized meals, very efficient service, not run of the mill menu very well thought out. Very reasonable prices compared to other similar establishments. Worth booking for lunch if going to arrive after half twelve maybe. Puddings to die for.
Sublime coffee house in the centre of Norwich, just off the most delightful street in the whole city. Best cup of tea in Norwich too. This is my first port of call when I have a day off and I want to treat myself.
Lovely setting, lovely staff, lovely food
