A hidden gem accessed through a shop. £3 per head covers an audio guide and about 30 minutes tour. Lawnmowers through the years with examples from the rich and famous. Surprisingly interesting even for non nerds.
Very interesting place, I have never seen so many Lawnmowers in one place. Worth a visit if you are in the area
Visited this great little museum and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
If you want to look at British lawn mowers then this is the place to go! Audio tour tells you the history of mowers. Entry is through the shop on the corner.
The guy made no promises, went after hours made sure I was up and working the next day! Fixed my chipper ignition and didnt give up! Thanks mate! Nice chaps!
An absolute gem of a museum. Where else could you see lawnmowers of the rich and famous?
Very quirky but only go of you have a spare 45 min and want a walk
Was a little disappointed when i arrived and had to enter via a shop. But "WOW" what an interesting experience this collection is one mans work and love. I do hope the people of Southport support this collection really it needs to be in a dedicated building because a collection like this could not be put together again.
