please do not take your items here! Extemely poor alterations and I believe they lied about dry cleaning my dresses! I have never seen worse alterations before. Please please save your items and your money and do not use this business for alterations! I do not know why they did not just say sorry I dont understand or I cannot do what you need done I asked many times if they were comfortable and able to do what i needed! I have attached pictures of only one of my items the second was equally bad.
Very Poor service. Went there on recommendation from a friend for a repair to a Gucci Jacket with a very tiny hole less than half cm. Went to collect the jacket in the next couple of days Friday as my ticket said. Got there and they handed me my jacket. Luckily I inspected the work before I left and saw that nothing had been done. I thought that this must be the "invisible mending". The assistant referred the matter to his boss who checked the jacket and my ticket and said that it's the following Friday that it would be ready and not this Friday. I said that I wanted my money back if it's going to take that long as it was not what I was told when I left the jacket and to which he replied that it would be ready that same day and which I agreed. When I went back to collect the jacket, all they did was just sow a few matching threads over the hole. Must have taken them no more than 5 minutes. I had already paid £48 for that privileged. I should have known better when I handed in my jacket the first time and had to pay at that point and the boss said that they only take cash and directed me to the cash point around the corner from Pret.
Not great service, charged a lot £100 to make 5 tiny holes invisible - had to pay cash upfront and on collection the holes are not invisibly mended and probably something I could have done myself with cotton! On questioning the not invisible mending I was told it would look better once dry cleaned, however I'm not convinced.
As with other reviewers, I am unhappy with the quality of the repair compared to the cost. I went in with worn jumper sleeve. Gave them the wool to repair it. All they did was sew it shut with cotton thread. It’s an ok repair, but not worth the £72 I paid for it. If they couldn’t do the repair they should have told me and charged me what this was worth. I should have paid attention to the other reviews!

I am a delighted customer ! Undertaking invisible mending is inevitably an expensive activity, but the price was completely justified by the exceptional customer service including completion of work exactly to timetable and the outstanding skill displayed in the repair.ServicesService not listed
Hugely expensive for what it is. Go online and you will find people that will do the same work for a fraction of the price. The guy who works there admitted that they just send the work to Wales to get it done. Start googling there....
A moth had eaten it's way through the right shoulder of a pale blue wool coat. I took my coat to them and they had to send it away to be repaired. Two weeks later I returned and was very pleased with the result. The repair was excellent and it is hardly noticeable that there had once been a hole there. Considering where the hole was and the colour of the coat, I was extremely pleased with their service. Expensive in one respect, but I love the coat and it was well worth spending the money to be able to wear it again. I, too, highly recommend this company.
The repair to my Tweed jacket seemed impossible without being 'noticeable'. I was quoted £75 and that it would take about two weeks. Fair enough I thought; given the complexity of the pattern and repair. The next day my phone rang and my heart sank as I imagined that they couldn't effect repair of the complex pattern without being 'noticeable. "The jacket is ready for collection", the charming gentleman said! Invisible it was! The price quoted was the price charged and returned within 24 hours. That's good old fashioned service with a smile. I am delighted to strongly recommend this company for your 'Tweed' problems!
I am living in Cyprus and asked a friend to take my grey pinstripe suit jacket to you for repair, on his return to London some months ago. He has just delivered it, wow! Your experts have done a tip-top job of the repair. I can't see where the damage had been, amazing! Many thanks from a well chuffed customer
