An interestingvisit to the Cathedral. Free to enter. As ever you could spend the whole day reading and learning. We had a longish hour or so and found the place interesting. The religious areas are not shoved at people but there is and overstanding area for peace.
The Cathedral is a marvellous example of craftsmanship over the centuries.nThere are many beautiful chapels and the architecture is spectacular. There is also a lovely cafe. The stained glass windows reflecting WW2 with those on the home front were lovely and interesting.nThere is good information around the cathedral.nNaturally the Cathedral in the centre of the city and easy to find and definitely worth a visit.nNo fixed entry fee but donations are welcome.
Beautiful Cathedral in Bristol. Free entry with a suggested donation of £5.00. Stunning inside with lots of interesting things to see, lots of information provided about the history. Beautiful glass windows and places of quiet reflection.nStaff are welcoming and friendly and will answer any questions.nToilets and cafe availible on site and a lovely little garden with benches.
Beautiful cathedral, loved the arches, spot the jester. Beautiful misericords and unusual seat covers. Lovely old and WW2 memorial stained glass. Lovely cafe.
A beautiful cathedral with more colours than other cathedrals I've visited. There's a garden and a cafe. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas when I visited. Well worth a visit.
