A good night out and fairly priced. Music taste can be a hit and miss depending on the DJ. As it is a small venue it can get overcrowded very quickly and seating is very limited, but the ideal bar to start the night before heading to a bigger venue like a club.
Went to bbb recently, half of our group was gay, the other half of the group myself and my partner, are straight and had a great time... if anything this place is too gay... I mean all the way gay with gayness seeping out the top!... didn't get hit on whilst my better half went to the toilet though... I'm going to put this down to my total straight energy, rather then just being ugly though
Visited this bar for the first time. Although a small venue we had a great night. Nice and helpful bar staff. Quick service. Brilliant atmosphere good music . No attitudes great vibe. Definitely worth a visit.
We visited this bar there was no one else in the guy behind the bar served us without a word then went outside to talk with his pal.
Good music, friendly people, clean toilets
So much for everyone is welcome... I came in here in the early evening for a drink with my friends and we were immediately kicked out without even having a chance to go to the bar. They gave no reason except that we seemed we were up to no good. I guess they must have made assumptions that, being young, we were there to cause trouble, but we had barely set foot through the door. I understand as a lesbian why they would not want me there, but for my friends all gay men to not be welcome either is disgusting. We went outside for a bit and then after a while they changed their mind and said we can come in? Really surprised about the hostility in this place. A set back for the LGBT community.
Such a fun night out. The bar staff is really lovely! Good priced drinks. Music is great.
We had the best time last night! catching up with good friends. The BBB couldn't have been better - highly recommend. Great friendly service. Felt welcomed by both staff and clientele. Looking forward to next time x
My experience of the bear bar is they are very welcoming and make me feel happy and safe, particularly they made a huge pride weekend for me finished perfectly with, frankly the most amazing cabaret act I could even imagine. Lovely folks everywhere. Thank you bears
