Absolutely terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone. They lost my brand new suit trousers and kept fobbing me off with excuses and claiming that they knew where they were but were unable to get hold of the person who had them. Eventually I managed to get them to pay for a replacement pair to be made, but the hassle I had to go through to get this done was ridiculous, on several occasions the owner, Martin Tordoff, was rude, aggressive, and used abusive language towards me when I was trying to find a resolution for the situation. Mr Tordoff, nor his staff, were at any point understanding, apologetic, or sympathetic towards my situation, because they dragged their feet for so long and showed no sign of urgency to rectify the situation, I was forced to borrow a friends suit for a wedding I had to attend. Customer service was absolutely disgraceful. After sharing my experience with others I have learned that mine was not an isolated incident and it appears that items maybe lost quite frequently. I am also under the impression that Mr Tordoff has had an aggressive and abusive manner towards other customers when problems have arisen.

I have received great service from Brighouse dry cleaners and would recommend to everyone. They are a great friendly team who assist in any way possible. They do a great cleaning service but also noticed my zip was sticking and fixed this for me! Will continue to support local business rather than the chains (johnsons!) and they also have many pick up points if you are not local.

Ruined my £270 jacket and are now trying to blame the manufacturer for 'wrong cleaning instructions.' Absolute joke, they ruined it and are pretending they've done nothing wrong.

Having had gravy (at a top class restaurant) poured down the back of my best (only) suit, I am extremely grateful to Brighouse Dry Cleaners making it like new again. Fast, easy, painless and polite. I will definitely be using them again and thoroughly recommend them, although the restaurant might not be so lucky!
