My daughter had a fantastic riding lesson with Tamara - she was so positive, giving clear advice and my daughter came away feeling positive and very happy. Thoroughly recommend :)

*WARNING* DO NOT PAY UPFRONT WITHOUT A CONTRACT IN WRITING!!! Following an initial lesson we followed on and booked 2 consecutive sets of 10x lessons for our 9yr old daughter, paying upfront in good faith each time. In general, all was well, until our daughter (being a relatively normal, sometimes fickle, 9yr old) decided she no longer wanted to go horse riding. I called, apologised and asked for a partial refund to be told "under no circumstances do we provide refunds" from an incredibly short tempered and aggressive Sally, who until this time had always been extremely nice (funny how asking someone to give you your money back gets them to show their true colours!). We had never been shown any documents, but suddenly Sally decided they had a "policy" of allowing users to transfer lessons to others but no refunds, under ANY circumstances. I was shocked, and have to admit I lost my cool, which I regret, but I do not believe this to be legal and will follow-up with my lawyers. In the meantime, anyone else who wants to use this place should be warned, its lovely, unless you ever ask for anything back....

Bridleways is a fantastic friendly BHS Approved yard where much pride is taken in our tuition, horse care, and yard atmosphere. Unfortunately it seems a bad review has been posted which has caused much upset and hurt as we would wish to civilly resolve any matter and not begin writing horrid reviews on the Internet, especially as the centre has been teaching the young rider for some time and as they have been a regular client and always having been so previously satisfied. The courses which have been discussed are buying a block of ten lessons and receiving the 11th free, therfore by buying in advance the lessons are offered at a reduced rate, it is clearly shown that these are then non-refundable as the next 11lesson slots are secured therefore turning away other potential client, which we have often had to do, we understand that sometimes people do change their interests and then are happy to allow the courses to be transferable to another rider in this unusual circumstance. If you are unsure that the rider would have a serious interest we would advise booking on a lesson by lesson basis. Once again I'd like to reiterate how upset we are about this all and how unfortunate it is that the other party has been so rude and aggressive with their communications on this matter after having such a good relationship for such a long time. We have so many happy returning riders and liveries, some having been with the yard since it began over 15 years ago. Many thanks
