I was directed here by my insurance company following a small collision. Have in mind at this point that my car was completely driveable. I managed to use it for work until insurance found a place for repair, and drove it to the garage myself. I was gobsmacked when they quoted £4200 of damage, and therefore my car was written off. Bridgend were rather nervy when I arrived to take my car back and get it fixed elsewhere, requesting a print out of the damage they had quoted. My front left wing, headlight and DRL were smashed. However, upon examining their detailed report (which was two pages long!!) they had added a significant number of items that were not required. They quoted to replace all my windows. Windows were not affected at all in the bump. They quoted to replace my wing, but also quoted a repair kit for the existing wing and a paint kit for it. Which one is it? You're replacing it or repairing it? Same for the bumper, even though the bumper was fine. I could go through the two-page list line by line, but the jist of it is... INSURANCE SCAM. I took my car elsewhere and had it fixed for £600. That says it all really. I've heard similar stories since speaking with other people. Clearly a lot more goes on behind the scenes, and being a reputable garage, people automatically trust them. Be very wary, and always get a second opinion, that's the lesson I've learned. I was also advised by the garage who fixed my car that if I found myself in a similar position in the future, putting my car through an insurance claim, to request any old parts taken off the car which they have had to replace. This ensures they are not claiming for parts on your insurance for other works etc. which is apparently common! And the old parts are yours to claim scrap for, you are entitled to take them back.

Always get excellent customer service from Craig 1 and Craig 2, I would always request them as my preferred repairer.

Not returned there for several years due to very poor colour matching. I accept that time has passed but Once bitten Twice shy!
