Alongside the award winning Portland Basin Museum. Serving museum visitors, local businesses, walkers, cyclists and regular customers. Formed in July 2011.

Story

A family friendly cafe offering a wide range of meals, snacks and drinks including fresh coffee. With comfortable seating and quiet canal side views the cafe is a great venue to relax or to pop in for lunch. The attached award winning museum is well worth visiting. Children and adults love the range of displays and activities available. There are even canal boat trips available.

Had father's day afternoon tea today. Delivered to my door by friendly staff. Couldn't finish it all but saved scone and cream for later. Really good value and tastes great. Thanks to Bridge View Cafe.
I ate breakfast which was good but too small compared to the price. Quiet, peaceful, nice view from the garden. In the background you can hear animals such as pigs, sheep, chickens, etc.
