I spent a day with my best friend looking for "that dress", and whilst I am not sure that I have found it yet (more trying on is needed!), I can say that I have found the shop I want to buy it from. Sarah is friendly, approachable, willing to enter the spirit and seems very reasonably priced. Found the same dresses elsewhere a good £50 more and Sarah currently doesn't charge for alterations. For me the most important was she let me try on any dress I wanted (and believe me I am not a stick insect... some of them I knew wouldn't suit, but wanted to prove it to myself!), and even take photos. As my mum lives a few counties away and due to illness has limited mobility, it is important to me to be able to show her some pictures of me in the dresses, not some beautiful model. Sarah didn't even need to know why, she was happy for photos, other shops in West Bridgeford were less than accommodating (and more expensive, and much more patronising) In summary Sarah is a seamstress not a saleswoman, go to Brides Boudoir for an enjoyable, pressure free experience.
