Just wanted to let all management and staff at this store know how wonderful one of your colleagues was on my visit to your Argos store, her name was Amber she went out of her way to help me whilst I struggled, I can’t thank her enough for her amazing customer service. She is a real credit to you, I would personally ask you pass on my comments to try make her day as she made mine thank you very much, Mrs foster a very happy customer
Avoid at all cost and pick another Argos. Went in today for a battery charger and bought one that was faulty. A few hours later we returned to the store to return it and Lily very flippantly told us because there was a slight rip in the box it couldn’t be refunded. We explained that it didn’t work and she then proceeded to print off the return policy and point to it for us to read. Only after I refused to take no for an answer did someone competent come out and immediately issue the refund for a faulty product. This took up about 10 minutes of arguing with a 20 year old girl in a store full of people. Meanwhile “Jane” was on the side giving her two cents talking about “we don’t sell things that look like that mate” and glaring at us while we tried to get a refund. Making people beg borrow and steal to get a faulty product refunded because of a box is ridiculous and it was so obnoxious that people need to know to go elsewhere.nnUpdate: I’ve now got some weirdo on Facebook called Harriet all but threatening me to remove this review via DMs talking about “call the police, I don’t care”. In an attempt to bully me into submission you’ve just made it a lot worse…will be reporting to the store as management should know that bad reviews are being stalked by someone close to a member of staff. Careful posting with your name as they clearly have thugs they send out to hide bad service/ behavior! who knew LOL
I purchased a £200 laptop online via click and collect, after getting home and inspecting the laptop it was the wrong one. I went into store the next day and spoke to a young woman who told me I carnt get a refund or exchange, even though the laptop had not been used only the box had been opened, because the box had been opened i couldn't return. The young lady was very rude and told me to pop back in the next day to speak to a manager. I rung customer careline straight away after getting homewho told me I could return it, they had a driver come the next day to collect, and I got a full refund.nnArgos Hucknall need to sort there process out, £200 is an awful lot of money, and when items havnt been used they should be allowed to be returned. I won't be purchasing from you again.
This branch for staff is disgusting. £200 down as they will not exchange or return a laptop eventhough the policy states i can even opened and through delivery through the website which is how i brought it . The staff refused on the spot with no proper explanation. Just so you know i have spoken to the manager of argos customer services who has straight away issued a full refund and for the laptop to be collected next working day. This is customer service! why is this so hard for this particular branch?. The area manager needs to look into the staff roles and customer service inspection of the staff here as it is shocking .
Today, I visited this argos to pick up a last-minute birthday present for my wife.nThe whole shopping experience was very quick and easy. I browsed the catalogue on the computers found in store, ordered and paid for them there, and then waited roughly 5 minutes for my item to be called out.nThis argos is situated inside a small retail park close to the centre of Hucknall. There was plenty of parking available when I visited.nThis was not the first time i had been to this store, and I would happily visit this argos again in the future.
