A really nice pub with a lovely atmosphere. Everyone was kept nice and safe. Food was delicious and lots of it. Cannot fault it!
Drinks were expensive! £10 for a soda water, cordial & a shandy. The cordial had something floating in it, Roast didn't taste good, chewy Beef, potatoes weren't crispy and held a lot of grease in them and service without a smile. Lots of Bluebottles buzzing about to.
Went for dinner and the staff are amazing and remember your name. The service is brilliant as is the heated outdoor area.
A traditional English village pub. A favourite with the locals and infamous for its Sunday roast.
Great home cooked food, one of the best pubs in the village with friendly helpful staff
Well kept pub with good food and friendly staff
Food excellent - decor a bit tired looking
Old school feel and furniture but it's very comfortable because of this. Love the pool tables and coal fire
One of the best Sunday roasts in the area. At least 2 different meats, sometimes 3. Fair prices and huge portions. Not possible to book a table so go early or later and accept that you may have to wait for table. Small garden with tables too. No on site parking.
Old fashioned local with a laid back atmosphere. Excellent beers very well kept.
