Briarlands farm is a great place to go for families. We have been visiting for several years and it is great to see how the park keeps developing and adding new attractions The Cafe serves hot food and coffee and is reasonably priced but they also have outdoor sheltered seating for those who wish to bring a picnic instead. They offer strawberry picking and tractor rides as an additional cost to entry. They have guinea pigs and rabbits which you are allowed to hold and feed at particular times of the day. The animals are all very keen to get some feed and do come closedon't feed the Horses but the highlight of the feeding opportunities is the new Goat feeder. Genius idea.
A huge farm. Good place for outing with day picnic. Kids had a good time. So many things to do. Cafe serves hot food and Ice cream and free parking available. Strawberry picking during summer times.
Very beautiful place maintained by the local family. Large farm with all outdoor activities, sporting activities for all ages, watch and handle friendly farm animals, tractor ride was outstanding and many more. Helpful customer service and plenty of Hot foods & ice cream from café. Recommended to everyone.
Great day out. Lots of fun activities in a well maintained area. Good value too although there were some activities that required extra cash payment so take some pound coins!
Amazing place! Our two boys are 5 and 6 and they had a ball. This is the sort of place you can spend all day and not get bored. We enjoyed the tractor ride, football golf and the new activities including the goat tower, mini Briarlands and the faerie garden! The staff were also amazing as at the end of the day our 5 year old fell and bumped his head on the path and they made such a fuss of him and even phoned the next day to see how he was.
Visited for a day trip for my sons birthday. It was fairly quiet as non peak times. Entry fee is fair and facilities are excellent. We would highly recommend the tractor ride as the guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He was great with the kids and was able to engage the kids in what he was talking about. The guide was happy to try to answer any questions and felt like he had all the time in the world for us. We got to pet some guinea pigs and feed animals out in the farm. The play areas are well kept and quite large. The cafe was good but the choice of food was not the best. Also a wee bit pricey but to be expected in this current crisis. Stunning views around the area and friendly helpful staff made our day that extra bit special. We will be back again.
One of the best places I've been for a family day out. So relaxed and open, you pay for your ticket but once you get in there nearly everything else is free to use. Plenty of space to take a picnic and lots of options to get food and drink there. Kids loved seeing the animals and the tractor ride was great, the man who took us on the tractor tour of the farm was amazing. Would recommend this place 100x over for a great family day out!
Briarlands farm is fantastic for outdoor play, climbing, bouncing, sliding, running. Really cute farm animals to feed and enjoy. The cafe has really good homemade food, the soup is particularly yummy. Staff are friendly and helpful. I took my 2 five year olds and a 13 year old and we all had lots of fun, even when the rain started. A brilliant day out for all.
Brilliant wee place, lots going on and lots to do! Our wee grandson absolutely loved it, the space to run around and the freedom he had was just smashing! He also loved the tractor ride and the staff were so friendly! We had our lunch in the cafe which also impressed us, nice menu all fresh made, nice choices, lentil soup was lovely as was the home baking! Lovely kiddies menu our grandson enjoyed his eggy bread! Nice touch with the added addition of soft play and an area with couches to sit with coffee and cake whilst the kids play with the toys!! Very impressed, we will be back!
Excellent family fun! Lots to do, well worth the admission fee.
