We stayed 4 nights in Glamping Pod Bluebell. It was very comfortable with twin beds, a fridge, microwave and a kettle it is well appointed. The toilet and shower block were spotlessly clean and very close by. The table and chair set outside the pod were ideal for breakfasts and dinners. Just outside the campsite is the stop for the 94 bus which can take you to Cheltenham or Gloucester in under half an hour. Very good service allowing you to explore without the worry of parking. The reception process when we arrived was very good and clear. We really enjoyed our stay will be back again, lots more to explore in the area. Thank you Briarfields for a relaxing break.
Stayed for 14 nights on a fully serviced pitch with our caravan. Large pitch beautifully maintained. Toilets and showers impeccably clean, lovely hot showers. Whole site well maintained with lots of quirky willow animals and figures dotted around. Loved Paddington Bear with his sandwich and suitcase! Staff always very friendly and helpful. Site situated very close to major routes and M5 for easy access for visiting attractions. Would definitely recommend this site and we intend to return in the future.
Stayed in touring site, whilst the site is relaxed due to being adult only, the pitches are very narrow, you have to park your car at front of pitch if you have an awning.nnWe felt very crammed in and won't return.nnThe site also suffers from a lot of road noise from the M5 & A40. There are no walkable dog friendly pubs from the site that are any good, we went to the Green King pub which is walkable along the main roads, but it isn't a very nice pub, very local and very rough around the edges, the kitchen was also closed the day we walked there, which was a hassle, luckily a chip shop is just around the corner. We also went to the Old Elm inn which is dog friendly and a short drive, this pub is A1.nnIt is close to lots of amenities, the site itself is well looked after, the toilet block was spotless and the cycle path to Gloucester is nice to have on the doorstep, but doesn't make up for the downsides. There is also nowhere close to walk a dog off the lead, we ended up driving to Imjin Fields which is 10 minutes down the road.
Stayed for two nights on a fully serviced pitch. All clean, level & decent sized pitches. Clean showers and toilets. Good clean washing up and washing machine facilities. Ten minutes walk to Aldi or Asda and an hours walk into Cheltenham bus stop out front too. Enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.
Ideal location for stopping over. We spent one night in our tourer, coming back from Devon. Location is perfect when tiredness through driving kicks in. The facilities are the best I've seen in my experience of caravanning. Toilets spotless, waste areas sparkling clean. Laundry and library with movies to watch. We swapped a few DVDs. We will be back and hopefully stay longer. Oh the small planes and local traffic did not bother us in the slightest. Anyone can see when you book, it's location as we did on maps, it's by a road, so what. 10/10
