Don't use this taxi if you want just to go from point A to point B. Taxi driver was awful. All windows were opened in car, so I got sore throat after 15min. ride. Additionally driver did ask many private and sensitive questions, which made this trip very uncomfortable.
never has a taxi available....rude aswell
Very rude office staff. price of the taxi fare changes every time from £6.90 - £25. On one occasion, the driver didn't turn on the metre and charged me £17 and i told him that the day before, i paid £6.90 on a metre and then he had to call the office, which resulted in me missing my train as i was waiting for him to sort this out. After this, they gave a set price of £10. A few days later, i made another booking and the set price increased again. The most i have been charged is £25. I only call them when its truly necessary.
I booked a taxi for 11.30pm a few days before our wedding and the taxi never arrived. Only after calling repeatedly were we able to actually get a taxi to us we had to call over and over because no one was answering, around 40-60 minutes later. So thanks for ruining the end of our wedding for us. Completely incompetent. How hard is it to send a car somewhere at a specific time?
Having struggled to get any taxi firm to do a pick up for 6 people from Wartling to Pevensey, returning a few hours later I was extremely thankful to helpful, considerate staff at Cavalier Cars... they accepted the job, agreed a fixed price, the drivers were polite and friendly, both cars were punctual for both journeys and were very clean. Fantastic service - thank you so much for saving my birthday night out!
Normally prompt and on time, drivers are usually amazing, so no disrespect to them. Female operators are brilliant. However, male operator is useless and if you book a taxi with him it will be late and he is the biggest liar you will talk to. 45 minutes late because the operator was lying to me.
I called to book a cab and the woman who answered the phone said my cab would be 10 to 15 minutes. So 19 mins later I called to ask if it was on it's way. I said it had been about 20 mins. I was not annoyed or in anyway abrupt I just asked because I was standing on a country rd and it was about to rain - so I was just checking the ETA. The woman on the phone replied "actually, it's been 12 minutes" She was so rude! I could not believe it! I bookedv it at 5.05 and I called to check at 5.24 easy maths, definitely not 12 mins!! Her phone manner was appallingly bad! So 40 mins later I decided to hail another cab that was passing. As we drove off, who should pull up? My cab. I decided that as the receptionist was so terrible the drivers probably are too. So I carried on going. I think I had a narrow escape. I will never ever be booking Cavalier Cabs again.
rang up, asked for a taxi & they were fully booked. for no reason the guy on the phone decided to be really sarcastic about it and just generally rude. everywhere else I rang were straight up & professional.
Have been using this firm for a long time, nearly always on time, and all the drivers are lovely, there is two things for me that stand out : the taxi driver Graham, one of the nicest people I have ever met, and Michelle, the lady in the office, lovely kind and bubbly
The nicest kindest taxi driver employed with this company went above and beyond. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, absolutely brilliant.
