Excellent choice of beers and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Not being a regular beer drinker myself, it was great to have the differences explained and to be guided towards something I'd likely enjoy. It turns out that the recommended beers were good choices, too!

After visiting a few of these types of shops in Coventry and Bristol I was looking for a good beer shop in Leicester and I can happily say I have found one. I was apprehensive at first as there is currently no website so I couldn't check out prices or selection however after visiting, the range is great and the prices very reasonable and competitive with other similar stores I have seen. Store owner is happy to help or happy to let you browse. I have to give five stars because I can't fault this shop in anyway, very happy I have found it and will continue to go.

Re-Review: Thanks for your reply Matt. I've only just noticed it today. Brewklopedia has improved greatly since my initial review. The quality of beers is fantastic and there are new additions weekly which seems to sell out fast. The growler station is a great addition and I look forward to using it regularly. The BBE dates have certainly been rectified. Thanks.

I came here for the last day of it's closing down sale on 7th August 2019 so the range of beers available was extremely limited but all at very good reductions so I filled my boots and left with two heavy bags of beers I'd never heard of but proved to be very good drinking when I opened them! It will be missed.

Really great place, huge selection of beers. felt very welcomed when I entered the store and had a great chat with a bearded man, he was very helpful and was very knowledgeable about the beers. 5/5 from me and highly recommend.

Large, clean interior with well presented stock, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a wide selection of brews from near and far. It's biggest problems are the poor location and the front of the building, which looks more like an abandoned mini-market than a boutique beer emporium.

Great shop. Friendly staff who have a wealth of knowledge and aren't afraid to share it. Well worth a visit for any fan of craft beer and cider.

Great selection of craft beers from the UK and further a field.  Staff are always welcoming and happy to provide advice.

Had some really great beers available, including a good selection of gose and sour beers. I would only say that I have seen Tart of Darkness available at a more reasonable price

Great bottle/can shop selling a range of craft beers. Guy in there is helpful and will advise you based on your tastes.
