My first time at this pub. Great service, especially from the older guy with the beard. Very knowledgeable.nnThe food was lovely too. We wanted something small-ish, so we ordered the Steak frites for lunch, which was £11, and we all really enjoyed it. The cheese sauce was particularly good.nnNice atmosphere.
I recently treated my dad to the Whisky and Beer Masterclass at Brewhouse & Kitchen for his 70th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The session was led by Jordan, an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate expert who guided us through the origins and brewing processes of their beers. We sampled five unique beers, each paired with a complementary whisky, which were surprisingly harmonious. The atmosphere was lively, with our group of 12 enjoying plenty of laughter and camaraderie.nThe tasting notes provided were invaluable, allowing us to record details like ABV, ingredients, and tasting notes. After the tasting, we enjoyed a delicious meal from the Academy menu; the chicken schnitzel was a perfect choice after the drinks. Highly recommended for a fun and educational experience with friends or family. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!
Brewhouse & Kitchen in Southsea is a must-visit. Whether you're a beer aficionado, a foodie, or simply looking for a beautiful and welcoming space to enjoy a meal and drinks, this place has it all. The combination of the stunning interior with its gleaming copper brewing vessels, the enchanting garden with its magical lighting and great heaters, and the exceptional food and service makes for an unforgettable experience. It's a destination. I can't recommend enough.

Special shoutout to Eve who was very friendly and made mine and my Nana’s experience enjoyable and put at ease accommodating to request with wheelchair access.nnHad a massive roast dinner all the meats which was lovely, pork’s usually my favourite but this was maybe a little on the dry side but I still ate it all. The beef was incredible flavour my favourite as well as the chicken, red cabbage was great and probably the best cauliflower cheese I’ve ever had. My nana had children’s roast which was still plenty!nn5 pints of water and a massive roast it was the perfect hangover cure !nnAnd then to finish off was also a great selection of drinks, my favourite being Belgian beers!nnThank you again.
Lovely pub, with great food! Walked in 12 on the dot and lots of food came in at the same time but food was still served promptly and a fantastic quality!
