A very nice pub/restaurant/micro brewery for our beer and whisky pairing experience. We tasted four beers made on site and a good variety of single malts.
I visited this establishment today and was extremely disappointed. First, they served a bang bang chicken bowl with rice that was either undercooked or several days old. I sent it back immediately, only to be told they had run out of rice mine being the last portion and I’d have to swap it for something not a lot of options so went for chips. After waiting over 30 minutes, I assumed the chicken would be freshly prepared, but what arrived was hot, fresh chips paired with dry, burned chicken. Completely unacceptable. I had to ask for a refund and won’t be returning. Very poor experience. At least the bartenders were very apologetic and offered me a drink on the house, hence not 1 review
4 of us had a really lovely Sunday Roast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic at a decent price. The only slight downside was that it was a little chilly in there, considering there are two log fires not being used in December.
Had a birthday party here had 10 guests. We were all served our food promptly...all food was hot and lovely. Thankyou all to the staff that served us all last night. Well done. Highly recommended.
