We haven’t been to the Bellemoor as a family for over a month now. We are regulars. Yesterday and today we as a family had to spend long days at the hospital so we decided to book to eat there this evening 23rd November.nnWhen entering the pub the staff are welcoming and attentive especially as it was very busy this evening.nnAll staff behind the bar and waiting staff were lovely.nnWhat let everyone down massively was the food. I usually take pictures of everything but I didn’t on this occasion as the food came out later for myself, mum and dad although we ordered it within seconds apart from my aunts.nnMy steak was a disgrace. Not worth more that a £5 I say!!! I asked for a medium rare it was well cooked and tough. ****I THOUGHT NO POINT TO SAY ANYTHING AS THIS IS SUPER BUSY HERE THIS EVENING*****nnMy mum said her fish and chips her fish was very chewy and hard the peas were not cooked enough and very dry.nnMy aunty had the same as me steak she did not like hers either.nnWE WILL NOT BE EATING HERE AGAIN!!!nnGood for an old get together for a few drinks just about!!!
This is a cosy local pub with great atmosphere. Lots of locals here and a great selection of draft ales and ciders. The toilets are clean. The only down side is how expensive and disappointing the wine is. I was informed he house Malbec was sold out so was given a bottle of 2023 mendoza. We paid £23 for a £5 worth bottle of Malbec that had vinegar taste and gave a big headache. I also often have to ask for a new glass when I come here here because you get a hot a wet one with lipstick stains. I think you can do better…Or perhaps charge less for this sad wine.nThe manager was nice and took photos for us after this shift.
nHad a Roast Dinner Turkey was ok Vegetables were nice and fresh Roast potatoes were fried I think Strawberry mini dessert was fabulous Staff were very attentive and we stayed for the pub quiz which is fabulous A good visit and a great atmosphere as always
Every time we come here the food and service is really good. Parking is limited so best to try and find a place in the road, where parking is free.nYou can get waitress service in the restaurant area best to book for this, or order at the bar for eating in the bar area.nThis is a very popular place to eat. In fine weather we've sat outside to eat, but it's in a busy road so a bit noisy.nPS if park8thing in the car park, remember to enter your car details at the bar.
Popped to the Bellemoor as a first time patron as I was in the area for work. The place has a very warm atmosphere. Delightful service from the girls on the bar. Great ale selection.nnAs a first time patron. I somehow missed the many signs highlighting registering your number plate for parking. Steve very kindly corrected my error days later.nnI will certainly be attending again in the future when I'm in the area.
