Great service & choice of foods, but found foods went cold quickly, for what little I had
Bit of an embarassment really, no chips, no onion rings, no coleslaw and a list of other things that are unavailable. Chicken was dry, burger was overcooked and the "salad" was a joke. Nice interior though
Lovely pub and food exceeded expectations. Staff lovely but I have only given three stars as my meal was missing a side and no explanation was given when served. After asking we were told they had ran out and that was why one lettuce leaf and two slices of tomato were added to my plate. I don't personally think this was very good. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian and vegan items on the menu.
Really nice food and drink here. Nice selection of vegetables on the carvery, tasty well cooked meats. The rest of the menu is hearty pub food that you can never go wrong with. Thoroughly recommend the breakfast with refill drinks. Booking is recommended on Sundays should you want the carvery. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available on the main menu and breakfast menu. Kid-friendliness: A good dedicated children's play area inside too, with its own small bar/serving area. Parking: Dedicated parking available on site. Wheelchair accessibility: Building is on the ground level.
Went with a party of 16 for Christmas Day Dinner. Table booked for 12 o’clock with the puddings being served at 3:15pm having had to chase them up. At 12:10pm we was told starters would be five minutes, they came at 12:50pm. Side orders for main course was delivered when everyone had finished despite being told they was on the way. Food was awful and the serving area was disgusting never cleaned from inevitable spillages. Not once did anyone come round to ask if everything was okay. Never again.
I was very impressed with our meal here last week. We had a starter and a main off the Xmas menu prawn cocktail and a turkey main there was an ample amount of food and we had an offer BOGOF so for 2 of us it cost just over 20 pounds with 2 drinks so superb value in a time when prices seem to be hitting the roof!Food: 5/5
Brilliant , really nice food . Really friendly and accommodating staff . Made to feel welcome from the first person to talk to us , was a bit of a wait for food a good sign in my eyes extremely good vibrant atmosphere and food piping hot . My smothered chicken was beautiful and worth the upgrade to 2 breast . Chicken platter was also well cooked and hot and a very healthy portion . I can only give you 5 stars but I’d like say it’s worth 10 . See you again when next in the area and thanks for fitting us in to your busy little restaurant, keep up your hard work it is paying off I can assure you .
A very popular brewers fayre, but lovely staff who are always friendly. Can get extremely busy with there being a kids play area there. But never had an issue with the food. When really busy food wait times can get a bit long. Kid-friendliness: Has a decent sized indoor play area . Parking: Free parking although not a huge car park.
The staff are friendly and helpful, but sadly the food is going down hill. The portions are getting smaller. I had a mon to sat roast chicken Dinner. The roast mini potatoes were unedible. They were so dry and horrible. We use this restaurant alot but won't be rushing back to eat. Kid-friendliness: Have play barn Parking: A reasonable size car park
Food was about a best as you except for the price. The potaeo mash was definitely microwaved but for the price is what it is. We was seated under a TV which was quite nosy. I asked the staff to mute it, which they gladly did. Had a bunch of football lads that loudly laughed throughout the whole meal. Staff were super friendly as usual. Very polite and helpful. Over staff super nice food was average.
