For a cheap family pub meal its decent enough, food options are pretty limited though if you suffer from dietary requirements, especially gluten as everything is covered in breadcrumbs or comes with bread. It's a relaxed atmosphere and very child friendly. Overall definitely good to come with the family but as a social meet up with friends, probably not.

Good food with fairly fast service. I had the vegan burger with sweet potato fries and then the winterberry cheesecake. The vegan burger was extremely nice and there was a really nice dressing on the salad. The cucumber tasted fresh and the lettuce and onions were crunchy. The fries were very nice and were only 99p extra which isn't too bad. The cheesecake was nice but was hard to begin with probably due to being in a fridge. The berries were nice and sour and the sause was extremely tasty. The refillable drinks were a great idea as I find one drink with a full meal is never enough. The only problem was when I pressed for cherry tango an orange drink came out. The only thing I would say could be better is there were no vegan desserts options. I was extremely impressed to see a vegan option on the food menu as I am vegetarian but I like to take vegan options where I can. All the desserts were vegetarian but that's usually don't without trying as most things with meat are viewed as savoury options not desserts anyway. Just to improve the options I'd say please add a vegan dessert just so those who are vegan can have a pudding if they'd like to x

Great family restaurant/ pub. Good food and drink. Awesome kids play area. And a hotel next door to rest up after.

Do a great breakfast both English and Continental. Mon to Fri table service Sat Sun serve your serve. Eat as much as you want. Costa coffee on tap Twice a week they have a Curry night swell worth a visit
