My first visit to Brew and Bake and I was not disappointed. The location is ideal, as it is situated close to the bus station and multi storey car park. Only a short walk to the shops or market. You can access this coffee shop directly from the street and would therefore make a great meeting place. The layout is very well thought out and the decor is modern with calming features, such as plants and low lighting with a high end finish. Even small details such as the door handles are aesthetically pleasing. The toilets were immaculate, which for me means health, safety and hygiene is taken seriously at this establishment. All staff were attentive and efficient. Thanks to Esme, who was very knowledgeable about the menu, opening times and where to find more information. Due to time constraints, myself and partner only had coffee and freshly baked cake today, which was excellent. Obviously we will be coming back for a meal soon. Thanks for a relaxing experience, on a comfy seat, where soul music was played at a level as to not overpower any conversation. Brew + Bake is the only B+B you’ll ever catch me booking in at. Since opening at their new site at Bishopgate Gardens, this place has flourished into a food haven. I’ve sampled their full breakfast as well as their sandwiches and never have a complaint. Keep up the good work!
Really tasty and good prices. Had budha bowl with a smoothie for a tenner. Really tasty and healthy! Will be going back, lots of nice looking food a good prices
Good place to study/work with good coffee and breakfast. I order tea, Hot chocolate, and french toast. All of them was very good.
1st time at the new location. Loved it. Very modern. Toilets were sparkling. Service very quick. Great coffee, great food. Competitive pricesFood: 5/5
Brew and Bake always delivers. Food is full of flavour and well presented. The new location is spacious and warm. Will be back.
The food and coffee has always been fantastic, but I am especially impressed with their disabled access. Well equipped disabled bathrooms, wide doors and plenty of space inside, and no steps to worry about at the entrance, this is fantastic. It's a real shame that there are so many places that are off limits to those who require assistance. My Mum needs a wheelchair to get around outside and I'm so glad I have been able to take her to one of my favourite brunch places. All the staff were super friendly too. Thank you so much :
Visited a few times on Saturdays since it relocated from the market. Love the new premises. Very modern & lovely decor. First time had a breakfast poached eggs & a breakfast muffin. Second time had lunch the B&B club sandwich & called in earlier today for a hot chocolate & a slice of Victoria Sponge cake. Have enjoyed all the food & drinks. Very tasty & good value for money. Lovely staff - very polite & great customer service. Special mention to the lovely young girl think her name was Amy who served us every time we visited. She was very friendly & chatty! Will definately be back as want to try a pizza as heard they are amazing!!
Went early in the morning for something to eat and a brew. Ended up with the best cheese toastie I've ever had. Nice staff, great toastie and a good coffee.Food: 5/5
Exceptional food, great prices, modern interior and cheap parking nearby, what more do you want. We had the half portion Lancashire breakfast and the portion size was similar to most full English breakfast sizes and everything was very tasty. Shared the French toast and while the brioche could’ve been warmer it was still delicious. Good friendly vibes all round.
