I don't think I have ever had such an amazing carvery lunch! After a couple of recent bad ones at other restaurants, I was beginning to think the carvery was no longer the Great British treat it once was. But everything here was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. This was reflected in the slightly higher price, but I would rather pay more for a better quality meal. The staff were really pleasant and welcoming and the hotel itself was very well maintained and attractive throughout. I didn't stay in a room so cannot comment on that, but if the restaurant and coffee shop are anything to go by then I am certain an overnight stay would be equally good!
Really wonderful food. We had the Christmas menu pre booking and ordering for this is essential. The food was excellent in quality and value. We were encouraged to help ourselves to more vegetables from the carvery, which is also amazing. The staff were very professional and warm. Nothing was too much trouble. There was no pressure to vacate our table so we were able to really relax and enjoy our meal. I can't recommend highly enough and can't wait to return.
Staying for business. This is a very well maintained place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, they are well stocked and quiet too. The food at the bar area is very tasty. I had the vegan burger option which was delicious and very reasonably priced too. The staff are always pleasant wether it's checking in or out or in the bar area. I would highly recommended this place to stay or just for food.
Stopped off for a quick meal late evening. Fantastic fish and chips,sausage and mash and jacket potato with loads of prawns. Everyone said it was very best quality. Service was very quick with very polite staff. Well done Breckland Lodge
Beautiful room. Very clean, comfortable. The carvery is soooo delicious. Staff are professional and friendly. It's located near a roundabout but we did not get disturbed with it at night. Its a quiet venue. I will be back xRooms: 5/5
Went there for a work meal on a Friday evening. We all ended up getting the carvery which was absolutely amazing. A lot more options than expected, and the quality was amazing. Will definitely be going here again instead of a "chain".Hotel highlightsGreat value
Stayed here for 1 night. Rooms & bed where really comfy. Had the carvery in the restaurant & it was delicious. Not to expensive either. Break fast was really good to. Would definitely recommend this place, especially for a short stay.Rooms: 5/5
Stopped here for a quick breakfast so cannot rate rooms. But based on my short visit I found it very enjoyable. Staff were on it and would definitely stay here if they had availability next time.Service: 5/5
We didn't stay here. As we were going home from Norwich we stopped for breakfast. The service was great and the food was excellent. Real fresh sausage. Not the cheap shop bought ones. I would definitely recommend this place.Service: 5/5
