Locally sourced ingredients are used to create homemade freshly prepared food and drink. All our products are made by us throughout the day, every day - we do not pack our food full of preservatives to make it last longer…
We offer a great range of cakes delivered from our very own bakery and serve fantastic espresso based coffee & loose leaf teas.
Simply, our aim is to sell tasty fresh food that does not contain the unnecessary e numbers and preservatives that are so commonly found in so much of what is eaten in today’s society.

As with other reviews, laid back and chilled vibe. Great tasting food and exceptional drinks, all amazing quality! Friendly staff and clean and tidy premises/toilet. A bit on the pricey side but worth it for the experience and taste!
If you’re looking to grab a quick bite to eat and want something that’s tasty, freshly made and filling, Bread and Milk is the place to go. They make fresh sandwiches and toasties that are satisfying and a great bite to eat. They do a really nice iced coffee too. They were doing a fancy Nutella filled croissant when I last visited which was filled with the perfect amount of Nutella among the many layers of pastry! It was… incredibly delicious!
THE ABSOLUTELY BEST COFFEE IN BRIGHTON. Their cappuccino’s froth is the same you get in Italy, their shop is lovely and chill and the staff js super friendly!! The quality for the price is really good too. N’1 coffee recommendation in Brighton for sure - also their almond croissant is to die for.
Delicious coffee with oats milk. Small but delicious and freshly made sandwiches. Seating available outside and indoors. Friendly staff. Toilet facilities is clean. Good location.
Loving the vibe in the shop, both inside and outside seating are so laid back and relaxing. The sandwiches were exceptional. Love the coffee too. Definitely gonna visit again!
Really nice cosy place. We enjoyed a nice breakfast. I had the vegan sausage roll and my mom had the meat version, some earl grey tea and a matcha latte. Friendly service and great atmosphere for breakfast.
Best breakfast bap I've had in a while! : And they open at 7:30 so you can actually have breakfast before everything opens up and gets busy. The coffee is very good but a bit on the small side for my liking. Vegetarian options: There are vegan options which look a good size and tasty but I didn't try them myself. Kid-friendliness: No kids options but easy to get a buggy in. Wheelchair accessibility: Doormat of about 1cm so expect a bump but otherwise level access. Toilet access is level but around a corner and not large enough for wheelchair transfer. You'd need to be able to leave your wheelchair at the door so if you can't stand at all then it's not accessible. Dropped curb just before the door. My Mum is in a wheelchair and I would bring her here. It's Brighton though, so it's on a hill, so be aware of that.
The cinnamon buns are worth a postcard home. Absolutely lovely.
One of the best coffees I've had in Brighton, the cappuccino had the perfect amount of froth. Very limited indoor seating but a nice modern and light interior.
It’s a nice breakfast place. The food was good and ambience is very nice.
