Bread 41
"Real Bread, in its purest form, is bread made without the use of processing aids or any other artificial additives. Real Bread is simply flour, water, salt and fermentation. The opportunity as we see it is great, all it takes is courage, imagination… and a little dough! Working with some of the finest flours is the essence of our breads at Bread 41. We use organic flour in all our breads and pastries.Eoin Cluskey – head baker & owner, Bread 41"

Great place for bread and pastries. Very flaky and delicious varieties of pastries you can choose. From sweet pastries to savoury pastries this central located restaurant/shop is located just below the dart railway line. Close to Pearse Station Dart station this place also serve breakfast/brunch menu however would required reservation at a minimum. When we arrive luckily the line was not that long however it got progressively longer. To me the long queue is worthwhile for the bread/pastries you are getting. A bit expensive in my opinion however reasonable. They offer pickup as well if you are unable to line up on the queue. Would highly recommend coming back again.
I love their pastries, but till the last weekend, I have never tried their brunch. The food was great; I enjoyed it, but I usually cannot finish their food as my portions are generally smaller than in a restaurant. It wasn't the case here; it felt like their portions were a little small compared to other places and the price they were charging. But let that be the only problem, honestly. The food was excellent, and even though the site was packed, the team was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed it all together.
Came here because of the good reviews, and I’ll add another one! I had the rye-chocolate chip sea salt cookie and a slice of pizza looking bread. Both were delicious. Coffee was great too. I’d recommend stopping in if you can.
I highly recommend the croissant Benedict, it might be the best eggs Benedict I have ever had! And do not leave without tasting the amazing raspberry and white chocolate pastry!! *you have to book in advance.
I had a cruffin with peanut butter cream and raspberries. absolutely delicious. They have a wide range. the staff is friendly. There is a small price difference if you serve at the location. being the first time, I wanted to enjoy the atmosphere so I chose to serve there
Incredible! You know when you find a place where your soul is satisfied? This is it! Customer service on point, food delicious, flavourful & portions large. The large slice of bread in the Bread 41 Breakfast sandwich alone was worth it. Absolutely worth every €. I wish this place continued success!!
I visited Dublin from London for short holiday. And my friend who is from Dublin recommended this bakery and she called “queueing bread shop”! I delighted eating breads and appreciated to my friend to recommend this bakery to me! All bread I grabbed are SUPER TASTY! So soft, chewy, right sweetness, etc ! Now I really want to try brunch menu too !
In terms of quality bread, this is the best in Dublin I have found. Great quality and delicious. They also have amazing pastries, sausage rolls, and many daily specials. Glad I found this plac Warning - be prepared to queue - but it is worth it.
Best bakery in Dublin! Probably ended up coming here 4 times in the past 2 weeks because we want to try everything. Finally topped it off with a visit to the upstairs restaurant which you need to make a reservation for! I tried the Eggs and Bread dish and the yogurt and spices was such a good combo. Only suggestion I would have is to add more of the sweet pickles to balance the tartness/spicyness of the yogurt. The bread loaves are also fantastic and very reasonable price for the quality. Lovely texture and flavor in the sourdough.
Bread 41 is probably my favorite bakery in Dublin! Being French, I'm super picky with croissant, and it's probably the best one I have tried so far! I've also tried out their brunch upstairs, and these eggs were amazing!! Highly recommending Bread 41, it worth queuing and the queue goes fast!
