I cannot recommend this place enough, 5 star service throughout a very difficult time. They were caring and compassionate with patience to meet our needs, throughout an emergency and supporting us when putting our 12 Yr old dog to sleep. We were not registered with this vet but this was not a problem and were seen straight away. If in future we get another dog I would definitely be registering at this vet. I also feel it was fairly priced. RiP bentley
First visit after reading lots of very positive recommendations. I was really pleased with the way our visit was conducted. The waiting area is clean and fresh and the lovely receptionist was very friendly and the perfect first point of contact. Christina was a lovely vet who put our nervous dog at ease, she explained everything really well and sent me an email as promised later in the evening with options available for us to consider. No hard sell....just kindness! Thank you so much for such a positive visit. I feel lucky to have such professional service close by. We have had to visit several times since and always had the same level of excellent service... Subsequent visits with our two other dogs have been equally positive and reassuring...if 10 stars were possible I would award them...!
Very good vets my puppy king had to have his tail removed due to an on going problem They also sorted my insurance out to cover the cost Highly recommended
Friendly face and kind but Poor service, I had a 1 star experience like people have said with their 1 star review has happend to me .. lots of good reviews so thought to join pet health care plan.. they didn't explain too much when I joined. I didn't realise this doesn't include consultation not even once just 10%discounts paid for treatments that my dog don't even need they said that it's good to cover all basis ... I Looked online and the product they gave me they charged 4x more ...for worm infestation when his clearly not infested . Gave to my dog anyways as they said won't harm him and this medication didn't do anything just put him off his food and then wasted my money ,When I went there as I was concerned he was under weight and not eating. also asking about lump on his face they told me not to worry just look like infected hair folicule it should go wasn't bad they should of looked better, they didn't even bother putting my dog onto table for better lighting . I have another appointment about 2 weeks later to get nails clipped and check lump and now telling me is abcess brushing past my assumption it's wet ezama as he has possible skin condition, they didn't confirm just selling me more drugs more money I don't mind spending if it's actually going to help, they seemed unsure I'm not happy, stop rushing. On top of this he had an awful nail cutting experience they cut his quik , I saw it was going to happen but I wanted to disbelieve, they are professionals it won't happend ... She went under him and tried go for opposite leg and he yelp like I never heard before cutting quik which obviously led him to bleed, they tell me this is there ' best student nurse'and was too scared to comfort my dog who is petrified to have his paws being touch when I rescued him. I spent long time training him to allow his paws being touch and it's like being at square one again. wouldn NOT recommend if you have an anxious dog they didn't do him any good. feels like a sales office than a vets.
Everyone from the receptionists, to the nurses & vets are all wonderful. They have a fantastic team - I wouldn’t send my pets 2 cats and 2 dogs anywhere outside of the Active Vet group. They always go the extra mile to accommodate you, especially in an emergency. They’re so good with all our pets, making time to play with them and put them at ease whenever they come in.
Great experience. My cat MugMug was given very professional kind treatment. I was so pleased after some anxious moments before finding this particular practice. Would certainly recommend to other pet owners.
Excellent service, although I would have liked an update on my cat.
Took pippa for her yearly jab, we where both made to feel welcome by the reception and the vet as usual not that pip particularly likes the place
Nice airy place and receptionists were friendly. The vet, Adele, was thorough and professional. However, when receiving the blood results a few days later, and given the all clear for any serious illness, all his symptoms were fundamentally ignored. They tried to persuade me to pay for procedures and medication that he clearly did not need and had nothing to do with his symptoms! For instance, just because a cat is old doesn't mean "he needs" an £87 injection every month for his virtually non-existent arthritis! I am willing to accept he might have a little, as he is old, but he shows no evidence of suffering from it! So how does he need an £87 injection every month?! But worse than that, despite refusing point blank to go ahead with that, I was issued an invoice the following week for his first £87 injection! I hadn't received it, agreed to it, or even considered it! If you want to be charged for treatment you haven't received, or be prescribed procedures which your pet doesn't need, go ahead. But this is the type of vet that gives vets a bad name!
I took my foster bulldog for her spay to Jenny at Bracken Veterinary Practice. Jenny's care was excellent and the rest of the team were very friendly. I would recommend to anyone looking for 1st class care for their pet
