If you are going to offer M&S food, then the garage needs M&S standards of customer service. Simple things like queues, politeness, uniforms, providing a regular coffee when paid for large. Choice of milk etc
Very slow service and long queues to get served despite servers ringing bells to try and get help to clear the queue. It's often like this in this shop and I use it frequently. People wanting coffee and hot food are not served separately making the queue slower than necessary.
The most expensive petrol station in the area. Even more expensive then the bp service stations on the a43. Why are they keeping the price so high when oil has dropped by 20%. I live next door but have stopped using it for fuel.
Beware this petrol station falsely advertises the price of fuel on their roadside sign, check the price on the pump before filling. Mike the manager is rude and aggressive.
I regularly use this BP as stop on my travels for my job and I’m glad it has reopened after the unfortunate fire. Popped in this morning 27/02/20 and have Just been served by an angel. Unfortunately she wasn’t wearing a name tag, but she has long black hair, an amazing smile and eyes you could melt in. A friendly approach with the customers and her perfume was amazing. I shall definitely be spending more there in the future, lol
WARNING. They advertise low price on roadside screen but a higher price at pump. Management refused to honour prices displayed.. CONMEN
A really huge thanks to all the team that were working here on Saturday afternoon for their support and kindness when I needed it. I stopped off for some petrol on my way to Luton to catch a flight. My car autolocked itself while I was filling up with petrol. Everything including my keys, 'phone, contacts, money, jumper were in the car and I was stranded! Kelly particularly took charge, using her own 'phone to google RAC and help me call them, put cones out around my car, offered me several hot drinks and even lent me her fleece while I waited nearly 3 hours for the RAC to arrive and hopes of catching my flight gradually faded. I notice there are some negative reviews about staff here which from my experience are unjustified and all I can say is for almost 3 hours while I was there all 5 members of the team were nothing but kind and supportive, constantly checking with me and offering what words they could of encouragement and support, plying me with hot drinks, keeping me warm and doing what they could to keep my spirits up. Their kindness on the day was very much appreciated.
A large well maintained forecourt. There's plenty of parking with easy access to the store.
I have just found out that on the last two occasions I have been charged £10 more for a 15kg Calor Gas bottle than I should at Stadhampton garage. I was previosly paying £36 only a few months ago. Today 29th March 2016 I have paid only £34.99 at Turnpike petrol station in Culham. Why is the same bottle at Stadhampton now £44?!! I would like to know who to speak to so I can make a complaint.
Charged me for 69 litres to fill up our Volvo, which has a 67.5 litre tank and had at least 5 litres in it when entering their premises.
