My family and I have been patients with Boxwell Road surgery for almost 9 years, and over that time, we've seen each of the GP's for a variety of reasons. The consultation service is great- especially with the kids- and, while it's not always possible to get an appointment straight away, they seem to be more accommodating than other surgeries locally.

I've been with this doctors for a few years, and at first my experience was great.However over the last 5 months they have managed to royally screw up my prescription at every possible convenience. Including loosing my prescription and not telling me, not signing my prescription so i had to chase it from the pharmacy and back to the doctors and writing one days worth of pills to last me over a week. There appears to be NO contact between the reception staff once their shift has ended which means i'm constantly ringing up to chase yesterdays query. Please introduce a more sustainable way of dealing with prescriptions especially ones relating to mental health where a patient may rely on these tablets for living.

I've been with this surgery for around six months now and I've tried to make an appointment for general things three times. Each time I have been offered an appointment for over a week away which I don't think is acceptable, especially when you're unwell. I wouldn't recommend unless you want to wait over a week for an appointment.
