Good place to visit, very crowded,stars that are there do not suit very person's taste,but all you have to do is look at the guest list and make your own decisions re if you're choice of guests are right for you and that the cost is what you are prepared to pay,simple it's down you your own choice,as for the venue I was a little disappointed with the lack of organization stars were doing autograph sometimes running very late I am not sure if this was the stars fault or the lack of good organization,but if the star is being paid then they maybe encourage to be on time and be friendly with the people who have paid good money to see and greet them and if it's the event organization then the same should also apply or maybe a bit of both? I was very disappointed with the food options not everyone wants burgers and chips outside in the car park at overpriced and poor quality. There were lots of all stall holders selling versus gifts some reasonable priced some overpriced what suits some people some not there were quite a lot of guests from the walking dead films,so quite a lot of gifts related to this and other types of film's so expect the gifts and things to be regarding this,but not all.lots is people dressed up in costumes walking around enjoying themselves and having people take photos of them
Parking available. Bag check made me laugh because they behaved like airport security. No water allowed. A woman had to spray her perfume on her hand to test it. I'm surprised we didn't have to take our shoes off. Large venue. However, for our event, there was no aircon/air. Smoke machines, hundreds of people stood closely together and no circulating air. Therefore, the place was stuffy, which resulted in 3 people that I'm aware of fainting. The artist had to pause the performance to wait for someone to come, which took a while. Staff though visible, were slow in responding to incidents. They needed to be more alert and vigilant. Security could have been better. A woman physically assaulted another unprovoked, causing bodily harm. All they did was escort the woman out. In my opinion police should've been involved.
Went to see Boys II Men here. Excellent gig but all staff were amazing, from the bar staff to the security. Kudos to Rob on security who helped me fine my friends in vip. Great venue. Only downside is the location. Very industrial.
My husband and I attended an event here recently, it wasn't very well organised but the staff were friendly and helpful. I have food allergies and so I made a packed lunch to take with us but the rules say no outside food allowed, which meant I was left with nothing to eat all day, hence why we left early.
I have been to this menu many years. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the toilets are not great and on many occasions they have been flooding and sinks have been damaged. I know things can happen that are out of the controls on the venue staff, but for the same things to happen each year, it is unacceptable. Also, one thing that I find annoying is the fact that every event we go to that has food stalls, the food stalls are told they are not allowed to sell cans of pop or water bottles. Which means you have to buy your food and then go back inside to get a drink to go with your food. That is just stupid. Apart from that it's an okay venue.
Visited for the Hot Wheels City Experience. All in all a good day. Not really taken much of the venue itself in. Charging to park is ridiculous of the company, if a weekend, park on the side streets nearby.
Fantastic day out at the comic con lots of cool things and staff were good and helpful, set out very well and easy to find good place for regular events
Great place to hold events like comic con or for the love of SciFi in my case. Lots to explore, parking is a pain and can be tricky to find somewhere to park if you arrive a bit later but overall a good experience. The 2 halls offer great variety and allow you to explore at your own pace
We went in group with work colleagues and had the best night. The acid house stage was my favourite....playing all the old stool tunes. I couldn't stop dancing.
Great venue!! BTID ZOMBIE NATION 2023 was out of this world. No expense spared, MEGA NIGHT! That front entrance needs looking at, though. It got that ramped it took nearly 10 minutes to get outside, from the toilets to the front door. There is a very real danger of that area being a crush point in an emergency situation. This was only halfway through the event as well.
