It is always a joy to deal with everybody that works at Elliotts. They are all very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Also you can have a laugh with them. Always look forward to seeing what they will offer.
My favourite auction house by far!! I only buy stuff to go and meet the fantastic, friendly team at Elliott's and a laugh is always had!! They seem to sell great items, and I have purchased a few good bargains over the last couple of years. It is clear they have a lot of regular customers and know them by name. Plus, the auctions are always worth tuning into just for the entertainment value. But seriously, the team at Elliott's are very professional and the auctions and collections are very efficient. So far I have only been a buyer but am about to become a seller and am sure the experience will be just as good!! Well done all! Outstanding really friendly auction house. Delighted with my recent purchase of a fabulous snow leopard by Nick Bibby. Every assistance was given to load the piece, and great to deal with a helpful local auction. Looking forward to purchase again in future auctions.
Very pleased with service. Garage Clearance at good price. Very punctual and thorough. Later got a small cheque in relation to some of our items they'd managed to sell - nice little bonus
Would highly recommend. Everyone so very friendly and welcoming . Elliot and the others make the whole process from valuation to collection to selling so eaay . Being able to change ones mind and collect those items also makes it a stress free and enjoyable process. My first experience of auction has been a very positive one . Thankyou all .
We have been using these Auction rooms for several years, the team are so friendly and helpful, if selling or buying. Would highly recommend, in person or online.
Such a good experience with this great auction house. They made everything very easy and dealt with a difficult probate case with respect and efficiency. Really helpful and knowleable staff who helped us all the way. Would highly recommend their services.
Usually have a good variety of items in their sales. Very polite and helpful staff. Easy access and some parking. Only drawback is that some of the reserve prices are unrealistic, resulting in items going unsold. Frustrating if you are a buyer amd disappointing if you are a seller. However, catalogue well worth a look.
I bid, I won for £10, the hammer fell, the auctioneer asked for my number, I showed it and he read it back a he wrote it down THEN he said "there has just been an internet bid, £12 will you bid £15"!!!!! at best an amateurish mistake more likely a blatant attempt to con a stranger. I won't go back and I suggest you avoid them. This sort of shady behaviour gives auctions a bad name.
A very enjoyable experience. Very helpful staff, good auctioneer, I will be coming back for more bargains and entertainment. WELL DONE!
