Story

Founded in March 2016, exactly a week before Alex’s 23rd birthday, Max and Alex Bould are due to open their doors for the first time in Cambridge, to serve up the best of what they love to eat and drink in the best way they know how.

With over 10 years combined experience in the speciality coffee industry under their belts, the brothers are excited to share their new venture and passion for all things coffee with the people of Cambridge.

Exactly service provided!! The staff was so smiley and friendly! I enjoyed two flat whites! Shame we could not sit in during current circumstances. Definitely will come back!

Good flat white but not exceptional and not convinced it had the requested full cream milk. Downgraded due to tiny size.

Loved the place. They were able to accommodate my request and make the hot chocolate less sweet and have a higher amount of cocoa. Will come back.

This place is such a gem in Cambridge that everyone needs to try. The coffee here is undoubtedly the best I ever had. Comparing it to other “local” coffeehouses is not even remotely close. Bould Brothers just blows everyone out of the competition. Highly highly recommended if you love quality coffee.

Really exceptional coffee shop.  The cold brew was excellent, and they have a nice safety protocol where they serve everyone through the door.  I hear they have a really nice indoor space upstairs for one day on the future when things are normal again.  In the meantime, great for takeout!

There's a reason why it's always so busy - the coffee is great. I had a flat white and it was delicious! They sell a small selection of cakes too.
