The food is very good and reasonably priced. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous. However, I have found the service to be quite slow every time I have been, perhaps because it is always busy. Drinks are served when you pay for your meal which gives them plenty of time to go cold whilst you are waiting for your food. I think the way to remedy this would be to offer free refills on the drinks.

Disgusting food, got a "homemade cottage pie" which was made with instant mash! Absolutely nothing homemade about it. Staff and management then rude when asked for refund. Stick to drinks they can't get them wrong..

Great all day breakfast with toast & tea or coffee for £6.99 absolute bargain and tastes great. The staff are always polite and friendly.

Had a tea and coffee which was fine decided to have a piece of "homemade" cherry bakewell never againe it was dry tasteless and we left it .This is the second time we've visited this cafe which has a lot on the menu ,I had home made pea and ham soup previously which was far far too thick you needed a knife to slice it my husband had a utterly tasteless Sunday dinner the gravy was nothing more than brown water,... Stick to drinks avoids the food

Not as good as the part across the road. Some nice items but prices are high and the choice of children's gifts isn't great.
