Been using this chippy a long time and been great. Now, not so good, threw the mushy peas away as they were hard and undercooked, also the battered sausage was about the size of a babies big toe, very disappointing, won’t be returning

Fab fish & chip place - unassuming, authentic, and lovely crispy fish which is tender inside. There was a 10-person queue when we arrived so the locals must love it! Chips are nice and fresh no sogginess and in general the place is a nice classic fish and chip takeaway.
Fancied fish and chips, being fairly new to the area I looked on Google maps and saw this one being just over 4 miles away.nParking on the street, it was busy in the village.nWe ordered 2x fish haddock and 1 chips. It was plenty enough.nCash only, there is small supermarket up the street with a free cash machine. The whole meal was the best we have bought in a very long time. Will revisit.
Brilliant fish and chip shop. The lovely staff have now even provided cushions for people who have ordered certain 'Cook to order,' menu items to wait in comfort. Thank you.
