Excellent ground that has a pitch to match... second visit in last 4 year approx with Luton and enjoy it every time...well run club, team, stadium ect
Not a bad ground for a team in their league and level. Great high road on the way from the train station to the ground and plenty to eat and drink choices there. Family friendly and very well staffed. Easy going stewards super easy ticketing system and turnstile entry.
1/1/25 Boreham Wood 5-1 Slough Town in the Vanarama National League South. First ever visit to Meadow Lane. Enjoyed it but not the result. This is a nice modern ground with plenty of options if you wish to stand or sit. Luckily enough this game wasn’t segregated so you could go wherever you wanted. Behind the goal when you first walk in is an enormous covered terrace. Wish we had the same at Slough. On the right hand side is a covered stand full of seats, on the left is a small uncovered terrace as well as a covered seated stand. Behind the other goal is an uncovered terrace. As the weather was bad we sat in the seats for the 2nd half opposite the goal we were attacking. The clubhouse is decent and very modern called The Glass House. Got loads of screens so you can watch footie matches that might be on before kick off. No physical programmes, only online. Bought a pin badge for £3.50. The stewards and supporters were friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy as there is a car park next to the away supporters entrance. And it was free as it was a Bank Holiday. It’s not very big so you might struggle if there is a big attendance. Enjoyed my visit. Not sure if I will be back next season as Boreham Wood could get promoted.
Plenty of parking, easy access. Outside bar was okay,no cover though
Arsenal Women playing at Boreham Wood was an exhilarating experience. The stadium provided a great atmosphere for the match, and the team's performance was top-notch. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A must-visit for any football fan!
