Brilliant customer service. Didn’t feel like I was on a conveyer belt - they gave me as much time as I needed. After a few adjustments I’m very pleased with my new driving glasses.
Brilliant experience with Lee at boots. Professional and helpful. I had to use my insurance I purchased which I'd recommend getting. Quick turn around on replacements as mine had scratches and damage. Also Claire was very helpful as I came in without an appointment to collect and I was seen within five minutes despite it being very busy. Great experience and I will come back to boots again for my next glasses/sunglasses.
Excellent service, lovely staff. I had the pleasure of being seen by a trainee optician, she was lovely and obviously loved her job. She'll be an asset to Boots Derby. It's like a well oiled machine, partly because of the experienced, warm and genuinely nice staff, but partly also from the manager who seems to guide his staff well. The whole experience was extremely pleasant.
Excellent service, the team here are very friendly and helpful. They even mentioned things I had never been told about at other branches new lens trials etc. I was seen on time and there was no waiting between each part of my appointment.

I was served by Mark when I was looking to purchase some glasses. I was a walk in customer but Mark did an amazing job of looking after me and ensuring I had everything I needed. He talked me through my options but he wasn't extremely pushy which I loved! I would recommend my family and friends to also purchase their glasses from this store. Meet & greet good. Waiting time short. Pre test short and efficient. Actual test very good, impressed by efficiency and thorough procedure - not only that but all results explained and shown on screen. A very nice person, very confident and happy in her job
Although the branch is often very busy I didn't have to wait long to be served, and the staff who dealt with me were all polite and helpful. I collected my new glasses and the staff made sure that I was happy with the fit.
I arrived early and was greeted and shown to a seat. My glasses had broken and they were happy to fix these for me. I was then taken into my appointment early. All procedures were explained fully. I was offered the choice of a more detailed scan, which would check the health of my eyes in more depth. The consultant saw me early. He was kind and professional. He explained everything that he was doing. He then told me the results of my eye test and the scan so that I could be reassured and think about my best options.
