As you would expect from Boots. Most of the hygiene, beauty, and pharmaceutical essentials will be here. The staff are mostly part-time but seem friendly. The staff on the prescription desk are fairly knowledgeable. Best thing about the store: The back door that conveniently leads into the car park! So you can avoid walking around the shops to collect your car whilst picking up your toothpaste at the same time!

Today I visited Boots in Sidmouth. I wished to buy ten packets of Hall's Mentholyptus cough sweets which were not on offer as is sometimes the case, but at full price. On taking them to the pharmacy pay desk I was told that I could not purchase more than six packets, and it is and had for some time been company policy that no one should be allowed to purchase more than six of the same item in any one day and if I attempted to do so by visiting another Boots store on the same day my Advantage card would show that I had already purchased six and would be refused further purchases. I have for many years been buying ten or so packets of Hall's cough sweets and was amazed to now be told that this was company policy. I could understand limiting purchases of items on offer, but it is ridiculous to limit full price purchases.

Very pleasant when we eventually got to the counter but long wait.

Busy store. Sometimes staff are so busy. Once you manage to speak to staff, they are friendly and helpful.
