Been here a few times now, really friendly owner and staff. They had 9 guest ales and the Moving Mountain burger was possibly one of the best burgers I've tried in a very long time. The scampi was lovely but the home made tartare sauce was just something else. Really lovely chilled beer garden overlooking the River Test. Looking forward to my next visit.
Amazing Sunday roast. The best we've had out and all in a fantastic atmosphere
This is a really nice pub with a very attentive staff and friendly owner. The food was really good and atmosphere was great. Jasper, our chocolate lab, has been spoiled with loads of treat from the stuff. A big thank you we will definitely come back soon.
We are locals so drink and eat here a lot. We never have a bad meal and the service is always quick and very freindly. We have just come back from a delicious Sunday roast. Reasonably priced and much better than the usual roast in a pub on a Sunday. The Yorkshires were huge and delicious. My 11 month old devoured nearly a whole one!!!! Food always washed down with great beer lovely wine and the occasional espresso martini. Craig is an excellent host. All the stuff very freindly and accomadating to children and dogs. I would also like to say that it was incredibly clean in spite of dogs and children being aloud in the restaurant. Xx
Considering the circumstances it was very good, friendly, polite reminder to wear the mask. Clean warm and well maintained no chance to see the main menu but they were catering for event. The location is a picturesque Hampshire village with beautiful church, thatched roof cottages and well heeled inhabitants. Always a delight.
Tried Ox cheek, minute steak sandwich. Wine was also good. Cosy, warm, and friendly environment. Never fails us.
A beautifully situated pub on the banks of the river. Drinks are a tad on the expensive side but the garden views are worth the extra.
Great location with a lovely garden on the banks of the Test river. Great local food and good choice of drinks. Friendly staff. Will visit again.
Gave this 5 stars just for the garden, I never went in tge pub but my missus said it was lovely, had a nice Guinness and the good lady said chardonnay was great. Garden is absolutely lovely and has the river test running at the bottom of it, just gorgeous area and views, could sit and watch the river flow all day here.
Very friendly owners, gave our dog a couple of treats....Great atmosphere & great food.
