This is so far for the worst indian food I had in dublin .. never ever try this restaurant . TBH .. no taste no flavour . Even the bread was not good .. the prawn mango masala was smelly all the way.. the lamb achari was just spicy like hot and nothing tangy or tasty .. even an Indian can't handle this hot and spicy food .. when I asked for a bit a spicy food . My only suggestion is to people is to stay away from this restaurant.. In my entire life I haven't written such bad reviews to any such restaurants .. hope I don't write any more like this .. The worst part is that in the morning I had food poisoning too and sick #Dublin #BombayPantry #Ireland #StayAway Better stay away from this restaurant just 1 star
As a hardcore Indian foodie, I have tried many Indian restaurants in Ireland. Not many restaurants reach the standards of Indian cuisine. And Bombay pantry for me is way below minimum expectations and standards of Indian food. We ordered roti which was large, thick and raw. We couldn't even finish a quarter of it. Pulao rice was extremely dry. Kofta curry was nothing closer to the authentic Indian kofta curry but was just alright. Vegan tikka masala was big massive chunks of raw veggies including raw potato in thin tomato sauce actually I wish to call it thin tomato ketchup with some basic spices. It had no "tikka" flavour what so ever. Now last but not the least is biryani which again had Big large chunks of cauliflower and other raw veggies and was a major turn off. One star for the location and one star for the star of our meal, fried poppadoms. And this marks our first and last order from Bombay Pantry!
Consistently excellent Indian food. Great naan bread, and good vegan options but bring back Chana masala and andjuna tarkala curry. Good quality chicken, lamb and prawns. Staff are friendly and professional.
Great place for a family party or event . Usually order for myself every Friday and never disappointed. Some new manager there and thanked me for my loyalty which was a breath of fresh air. A Pranub Sharma.
I'm Going To Give This Place a 1 star but it really deserves no stars to be quite honest . My Family Ordered Me A Chicken Korma From Here When It Was My Brothers 24th , It Did'nt Agree With Me At All , I Felt Very Dodgy The Next Day As I Had A Loose Stool and i am Actually Allergic To MSG .
They have really nice and tasty food. It's a quick take away with some unique Indian taste. A bit different than usual and that makes sense as no Indian dish should ever taste same when cooked by different chefs and that's the beauty of it.
Not getting the correct order missing food and when I say cold not Evan luk warm. So I rang to vent... No apology just 40 minutes to replace the order still waiting
It is with a heavy heart that I give a one star review. Haven’t been to this Bombay Pantry in a while, but the meal from last night was as poor a takeaway I’ve got in a long time. The sauce for the butter chicken was tasteless, just bland and the actual chicken was just tough. I can not ever recall ever getting tough chicken ever, from any restaurant/takeaway. Had to pick through, eat the rice and throw the rest of the meal out. Starter was ok, Nan bread huge, supposed to be garlic, but it wasn’t garlicky enough for my taste. For me, they’ll really have to pick up their efforts, or it will be tough to see how they keep repeat customers. I have to say I loved their butter chicken previously, but last night was a very poor effort.
The dishes tasted the same we ordered A take out selections off dishes and it’s not The same as before
ordered takeaway from here last night and was pleasantly suprised. I have ordred a long time ago and wasn't as impressed but I think they have improved a lot. We had the lamb biryani and chili chicken - both were very flavourful. Will return and would recommoend
