Very nice place
Good tasty fresh food, and generous portions too. I know all the curry restaurants around Brixton, and there are a few good ones, but this is my favourite. I like that it's quiet, unpretentious, has friendly staff and the food is terrific. Even my fussy friend, who is a qualified chef, was impressed by the flavours and freshness of the food. If it's good food you want, then highly recommended.
Booked a table for 10 of my friends from work as an evening meal and ordered set meals with beer and wine. I was surprised at the level of service and the quality of the food. To my surprise, the chefs even came out of the kitchens to see if we were happy with our food, to which we replied with compliments. I cannot thank you enough for the great food and service we received and we will surely be coming back again in the very near future. Thank you so much for accommodating us and our noise!!!
The food was really nice BUT...we had a 2-4-1 offer hence why we booked. When we called up we told them about the offer and they said it was all fine. When it came time to pay however they refused to acknowledge the offer and even denied having the conversation earlier in the day. We went back and forth with them about this, in the end they only took £5 off the bill when it should’ve been half price. Very disappointing because the food was good.
Just had my birthday meal here. We could actually talk to each other. Food delicious and really generous portions. They gave me a classy bottle of wine. Lovely service friendly and very efficient. Thoroughly recommend it
The best family Indian restaurant run under the management of a lovely lady fondly called Roma in the whole of South London. This restaurant is known for its warm, friendly and vibrant atmosphere. Keep up the good work.
I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience ordering from this restaurant - I'm only in London for a few nights and when my friend suggested we order Indian, I was super excited to be ordering an Indian takeaway in London and this place had amazing reviews. We ordered two kormas [one chicken and one vegetable] and garlic naan and both the kormas were flavourless and the naan was dry and hardly tasted of garlic. Super disappointing, I don't recommend ordering from here at all, I'm so sorry!
Very disappointing! Not sure the new owners know how to make Indian food Hello, I ordered the Vegetable Biriyani, half Tandoori Chicken, Garlic and Cheese Nan. The rice was so oily I couldn't eat it and the sauce that came with it didn't taste like a curry sauce at all. The naan bread had so much sugar in it; I've had Indian food many times before and never have I come across so much sugar in a naan bread. The chicken was the only dish that was edible.
Ordered a takeaway. Very tasty and affordable. Welcoming service when I went to collect, and food was hot when I got home. Would definitely recommend!!!
Food well below average and much too oily and salty. The manager owner I think was openly making very ignorant and racist remakes in front of customers and was bragging about how much money and property he has, loud enough for all to hear! what a nasty arrogant bigot! He also burps and sniffs aloud while you are eating! Disgusting man! Avoid and spend you well earned cash elsewhere if I was you Not called curry delight as stated above but Bombay inn on Brixton Hill
