we had a chicken tika rice and sagaloo and nann bread was the best Indian ive had in a long time
Extremely oily food, to the point it had over flowed and all of the contents of my order were covered in oil from my curry. Naan was very undercooked and parts of it still dough. Very anaemic chicken wings. Over all wouldn’t order again
The food tasted delicious. Arrived on time and even gave me a free dish that I didn’t expect. The best Indian I’ve ever had will be ordering again. The prices are reasonable better that other Indian restaurants
Food was very poor quality. Many people from out side coming & going out side door was open. no management control look like fish market.
Ordered a takeaway from here on Friday. Delivery time was very good but the food was awful, probably the worst Indian meal I have ever eaten. Everything was greasy, luke warm and tasteless.
Fantastic food for starters!!! Whoever answered the phone was extremely helpful advising what dishes were suitable for vegans and knowledgeable about the ingredients in each, even checking with the chef where need be. Will definitely be ordering from there again. Highly recommend!
Missed a dish off my order last time it was on the receipt but never arrived so I tried them again and they forgot my drink, had to have an argument with them to bring it as they said they can’t bring it as they are busy, well sorry but not my fault if Iv paid for a drink then I want it, it came 10 mins later but shouldn’t have to argue. overall the food is ok but the curry I had wasn’t great bland, the initial delivery time was spot on though, just a shame they forgot items both times
I try many restaurants at the last two year I moved here. The food arrived on time and was that hot I have to wait a little cool down. Delivery driver was very friendly and polite. When I opened the food I dont expect too much. When I tasted I was absolutely surprised. The best Indian food what I recieve here in Southend and I tried over 20 different minimum. All food was fresh and tasty. Absolutely satisfied and definitely order again. Keep up this good work and I will order from here always. Only one thing to improve, the naan have to be more thin.
I ordered via Uber and this was my first time at this particular establishment, therefore my order was done via the app. My onion bahjees and veg samosas were nice and as expected. The onion bahjees especially as they were crispy and not oily like some. My breads were very good and tasted fresh. The Madras Bombay potato was very hot, as expected and good. My main vegetable curry which I asked to be of Madras strength, as I had the option to add notes when ordering this dish, was not read. It was a very bland curry and let the meal down. The delivery was on time and the lady who delivered put it on the doorstep as requested as some don't bother even though it is asked for. Very polite as well.
The rudest driver I’ve ever come across when ordering any take away. After being shouted at by this driver who wouldn’t bring my food to the front door who complained about getting wet outside. I buzzed the flat doors open so he was able to enter the building but the driver refused to come inside the building and deliver the door to the front door. After calling my mobile phone shouting at me to come down stairs “do I understand English” I feel very shook up and distressed at this drivers Intimidating manor. Never have i had to step into the street to collect my food from a driver My food is now cold and unenjoyable. The naan is undercooked and like a thick doughy lump.
