Service was OK but challenged by it being very busy Friday evening - 14th December. Food, again, OK but no-where near as good as the last two times I tried it - some time ago now. Toilets are a bit shabby e.g. cubicle lock missing and a cistern lid held together with duct tape.660ml bottle of Cobra beer - £4.75. Starter, main meat dish, rice, naan and side dish £20 under a special party deal. Unfortunately, for me, the clincher was the noise. Initially we had to suffer the usual tedious piped music whose reproduction was not good - to the point that it was effectively just more background noise - in an already noisy situation - too many hard surfaces? Anyway,It got worse... much worse. Unfortunately, later on, some joker started crooning away and really, that's an insult to Crooners in a ghastly parody of The King, which whilst mildly amusing, was SO LOUD even if you shouted at the person sitting next to you they wouldn't be able to hear what you were saying. I had to resort to texting my co-diners. After suffering this cacophony for 30 mins I managed to escape with ringing ears that lasted till I went to bed 2 hours later.I will NOT be returning.
First time ever going, was greeted ok, but then went down hill from moment i sat down, Firstly i couldnt hear my self think it was too loud in there, Secondly, i fount a hair in my food too which the manager said it was minebearing in mind i have short hair, and this was long totally put off bye this,couldnt eat the rest of my food ordered so i asked for the bill, too which the bill was 52 pounds, i gave 60 and the chap didnt return with my change. NEVER BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN..
This used to be excellent, however I went the other day and it was the worst curry I've even been served. Tasted like some cheap supermarket microwave shite they bunged in a bowl. Apparantly the chef who used to work here left which explains this. Try Indian moments in Harlow.
Went on a Saturday night. Food was good, when it arrived but the place was so busy that serving staff couldn't cope and it was too noisy.
food was goos service was nice staff friendly
Considering the price, the food is very average.
