Absolutely fantastic gym and fabulous instructors. Broke my leg last year and was struggling with pain from metalwork but they have helped me enormously with my progress and showed me how to do exercises safely even during busy classes! I would wholeheartedly recommend this very friendly ladies only gym

Can’t recommend First Step 2 Fitness enough - every single member is made to feel like part of the family and nothing is too much for Sue and the team. They really try to help you achieve your goals and the level of knowledge and expertise is second to none. The range of classes is extensive and there really is something for everyone! Ive been to numerous gyms throughout Darlington in previous years but none have made me feel as welcome and offered as much help as First Step 2 Fitness. 1000% recommend!

Been a member here for 10 years, the team are friendly, helpful and professional. The gym has a great choice of classes on a morning, evening and weekend. All of the members are good fun and friendly and make everyone feel welcome. The pre conceived idea that everyone who goes to the gym is fit and skinny is not true here!  I wish  ha ha. But jokes aside, I don't know anywhere else to have so much fun while getting fitter at the same time!

This is by far the best gym I have ever used. When going to a gym I would feel uncomfortable and embarrassed but not here all the staff are lovely and always happy to help and motivate you. And its women only which is a bonus. Susan the owner is fantastic and has helped me through my tough times always makes you feel welcome I love it and would advise for you to give it a go I promise you won't regret it.

This is definitely the best gym in Darlington.  So friendly both staff that run it and people who go.  The classes are fantastic whether you are a beginner or not.  You must give it a try.  Would recommend Zumba Zumba toning and the glow fitness class is such good fun.  Give it a try you so will not be disappointed and Sue the owner is a lovely lady and brilliant fitness instructor.  Thanks for everything Sue you so motivate and inspire me.

Best gym in darlington! their staff are lovely and supportive... all ages welcome would highly recommend to all ladies! An amazing variety of classes to keep you motivated to get fit : only £25 a month with classes included cannot go wrong!!!! could even get yourself a pamper at the nail bar,hair salon or treat yourself to a holistic therapy...

Absolutely love being back at the gym.  Tried other places never stepped foot in them this gym is so comfortable the people in the gym are lovely.  So pleased I signed back up, I felt so welcome stepping back into the gym  keep doing what your doing .....the classes are packed and full of the same energy.  It’s fab

This ladies only gym is supportive, friendly, professional and up to date. From the first moment of contact to meeting the staff in person I have felt looked after. When I have attended sessions I have been surrounded by friendly and approachable instructors.

Absolutely love this gym,  sue and friendly staff are brilliant. Always looking to update and bring different classes to gym. Go on ladies give this gym a try you will love it. Keep up the great work Sue and staff, love it.
