What a wonderful stay we have had! The boathouse is magnificent, every detail so cleverly thought out and has everything you need. This little sun trap is just a stones throw from two pubs, a bakery and little shops. Right on the water, the sound of waves as you wake and as you sleep - so relaxing and just what we needed. Right by the ferry which takes you over to the beautiful Fowey with so many eateries, cute little shops and plenty to do. Lots of great walking routes too and amazing views. Lovely hosts, provided everything we needed, thank you. It truly is so peaceful and we’ll definitely be back!
A fabulous little boat house accommodation in a perfect location. Next door to the pub and right next to the ferry to Fowey. Accommodation was clean and very well appointed. Very friendly hosts Melanie and Stubbsie added a the personal touch as well. We are sure to visit again.
Our second stay at this bijou boathouse on the waterfront with the sounds of the sea has been another wonderful escape. The nearby walks are amazing and no need to use a car with nearby ferry a few steps away. Thank you
I stayed at the Boathouse as a little break for myself. Wow! it was the perfect winddown place. Beautiful views, lovely local walks and easy access to Fowey. The Boathouse was well equipped with everything I needed and the owners were really helpful and even chopped my logs smaller for me! The bed was really comfy and the sound of the sea lapping around me was blissful. I will go again and would recommend friends.
The boathouse is right on the river and it has absolutely fantastic views of the water and of Fowey. Inside has been cleverly decorated with so much care, and attention to detail. I particularly loved the sink and the awesome banister! It is a cosy place, perfect for a couples getaway! It is close to local amenities, has steps down to the beach just outside the entrance and there are variety of coastal walks nearby. It really does have everything you could ask for. We will be back!
Wow! What a Gem of a place! I found this amazing place on Instagram and was easily influenced, it only sleeps two so we couldn’t take the children so we decided a break alone was needed just so we could try the boathouse and we were not disappointed. The host was a joy from the moment of enquiry to waving us off up the Cornish village lane. Every detail in the boathouse has been considered it is most definitely a place to relax and slow down the mind, we played lots of card games with a drink and the view. The walks from the boathouse are great too, we are not walkers but enjoyed exploring the locality on a 6 mile route. The village is great it’s beautiful and unspoilt. Two pubs, a shop and a bakery you need nothing else really. The view is amazing from the moment you wake up until you rest again at night. If you are considering booking here do it, you will not be disappointed.
Blissful week spent at the beautifully converted boathouse - stunning views from the property and we could swim straight off the end of the patio. Beautiful walks from the door, friendly locals, and a great variety of dining in Polruan, Bodinnick and Fowey. Couldn’t ask for more.
Compact very comfy accommodation in a great Cornish village with excellent view of Fowey and the sunsets on the waterfront. Excellent location and wonderful hosts. Thank you.
