Bluebird has been looking after my now 93-year-old dad since last June, helping him remain in the home he loves, despite his growing health issues. His two main carers now feel like part of the family, whilst the Lewisham office team has been incredibly efficient and supportive, anticipating needs, always responsive and one step ahead. During the time I was living abroad, Bluebird’s staff kept me up-to-date with everything and provided an app, where I could see how each visit had gone. Our family also installed an Alexa device, which meant I could chat to both Dad and the carers on video link each day. Staff follow safety protocols for Covid, are extremely careful with his medication and are always alert, phoning in any health concerns. A local friend had recommended the agency when I became concerned Dad needed a helping hand, as Bluebird had cared for her mum. I am happy to now pass on my recommendation, too.
Bluebird Care Lewisham has been looking after my mum for over two years now. They came highly recommended and have more than exceeded our hopes and expectations. All the “Bluebirds” have been wonderfully supportive, kind, generous, flexible and reliable. Mum has liked everyone and has nothing but praise for them. It has been a particular comfort to know that they have been there for mum at a time when the family could not be, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. It feels like having an extended family!
My mother benefitted from help, support and care for Bluebird Care for three years. She needed help to remain independent and to take her shopping. The Bluebird Care team did a brilliant job. They were friendly, supportive and helpful and were always there for her. And the office team were always helpful, responsive and friendly. We really got the sense that Bluebird Care cared.
I have worked for bluebird care now for 3 weeks, It is an amazing job and i feel so privileged to work for them. They made me feel so at ease and still Continue to do so. I feel very lucky to be in this job and it’s so rewarding. The staff are brilliant too always there to help with any worries I have.
My experience with the BlueBird Care Lewisham & Southwark team so far has been really lovely, they make me feel right at home within the work family and the support they give is continuous and consistent. They go above and beyond for their staff as well as their customers which makes it such a great environment to work in!
I have now been with Bluebird care for over 2 years and what a fantastic company to work for. The directors could not be more supportive with all aspects of the role. I have felt such warmth and care within the business and I couldn't ask for a more rewarding role.
I have worked in the care sector for 20+ years and have never worked for a company so professional yet make you feel like part of a family. It is a pleasure to come to work...I dont feel like it's a job..staff both in the office and carers out in the field are great to work with. I have had so much support and encouragement with training and are open to new ideas on making our customers lives more enriched.
Fantastic care for my aunt. Her constantly evolving needs are always met promptly by the flexible and caring staff. I have been very impressed and am grateful for the friendliness and good communication.
I've been working with the company for nearly 2 years now and they have been INCREDIBLE. They are always there at the other end of the telephone whenever you need them. Very supportive, understanding, motivating and just good people. Would highly recommend as a great company to work for
Excellent short term support package helping with recovery from hand surgery put together at very little notice by Co-Ordinator Kate and Anna in the office. Very helpful cheerful carers arriving promptly with a willingness to help with anything asked of them.
