"Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The Bluebrick is situated on the historic site of the old Wolverhampton station and the buildings, which date back over 100 years, can still be seen. We're proud of our freshly cooked, seasonal pub food and have been voted the "best loved" restaurant in Wolverhampton on numerous occasions by the community. Plus we're close to Cadbury World, the Black Country Museum and Dudley Zoo and are well known for memorable Christmas events in Wolverhampton!"

We had a complimentary breakfast associated with our stay in the adjacent Premier Inn in Broad Gauge Way. The continental breakfast and toast, cereals etc., if you extend to the full cooked breakfast are self-service from a medium-sized buffet. Cooked breakfasts are to order, and you specify the number of rashers, sausages, eggs and type etc. Not sure how well this sits with the advertised 'unlimited' cooked breakfast as advertised! Also, the main receptionist/waitress, who had been on duty the Saturday afternoon before as well as on Sunday morning, had a passive-aggressive way of doing just the essential, complying yet being snooty – unsmilingly and probably unhappily. From watching interactions with other couples too, it was clear that she didn't like her job.
We had value meals for lunch. All tasted good and had plenty portions. The only downside was they didn't have a take away boxes to pack the leftovers.
Stopped at the PI on 20th and went for dinner with 3 other colleagues. Wow was greeted with "if you haven't book we can't serve you"! Then they found a table, we have never felt so unwanted by team members.... The food well just look at what I could of been eating to what I actually got served... no tomato, gherkin or sauce!! and to top the visit off they CLOSED the bar at 22:50 and gave us 10mins drinking up time till 23:30!! Not the best guest experience
Away fans great atmospher. Would of liked more selection of beers. Good selection of food. Fair price. Friendly staff.clean and tidy. Plastic cupsFood: 4/5
Lovely soup for a starter but then a rather long wait for our main course, after 50 minutes I asked what was happening, I got an apology and we both had a complementary drink. The main meals were well worth waiting for and the food was hot. It was nice and quiet in there with no sticky tables. We will go back.Food: 5/5
Excellent menu will super value for money. I recommend the trio of pies with a side of chips, but many of our party enjoyed other dishes such as steaks and fish. Service was challenging compared to some venues, but some considerations should be given to the New Year's celebrations and the overall value on offer. More staff would mean higher prices! Generally, the venue has a family atmosphere with a nice layout fronting glass windows, which give a more private feel to your table. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is decent and the venue lends itself for playtime with crayons and colouring in available. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled toilet was broken when i attended, but the site passed the wheelchair test with access throughout.
Service was good, but food was poor. I had mac n cheese side with my meal. I didnt ask for it to be on my chips.
We had Chicken burger, fish & chips and Gammon steak, all great, followed by apple Betty and chocolate brownie, all great. Reasonable prices but quite slow service.
Had the best breakfast following a stay at the adjacent premier in. Staff were attentive, hard working and everything was cleaned regularly and freshly stocked. Tracey, Asende, and Andrea were fab. John the chef cooks a great breakfast and I finally found someone who can cooked a poached and fried egg properly. Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the breakfast. Lots to chose from and suit everyone. Parking: Plenty of parking
Let’s start with the ‘positives’ the food was okay, hot and tasty. NOW!! the Negatives! Completely understaffed on a Xmas Eve!! One Waitress who served us was very good,Polite, courteous, but left to run around trying to do everything! Woman who I took to be the ‘Duty Manager’ was very impolite, miserable, and pretty much ignored us. Needs Replacing in my opinion, a Horrific example of ‘Customer Service’. Our table was booked for 12pm, left waiting by the bar, with the only excuse being were just sorting out from breakfast, which if I’m not mistaken finishes at 11am. It was 12.20 pm before we got seated, the waitress took a drinks order another 15 mins before we got that, she then took our food order, starters arrived at 1pm, main course was an hour later at 2pm!!!, we decided against desserts, told to go to the bar to pay the bill, No one around! Other people came to pay their bills, so my Friend went to find someone, as we now only had about 20 mins until our 3 hour free parking was up. The same embattled Waitress did our payment, and we couldn’t get out quick enough! How can a meal of 2 courses take so long! Absolutely flabbergasted, especially as there was hardly anyone in there! I hate to think what would have happened if the place was busy. Definitely will NOT be going back!!!!!!!! The 2 stars are for the food and Waitress.
