Definitely the best fish and chips in Taunton! Always fresh and perfectly cooked and good portions. Friendly staff and everything always runs like clockwork, well managed. There's a lot of other take aways that could learn a lot from Blue Ocean and its staff.

Fantastic- finally a chip shop with a proper large fish, cooked to perfection and the slice of lemon is a great touch. Possibly the best fish I’ve had. Thanks, will definitely pop in again when next in Taunton.

The fish and chips at Blue Ocean Chippie are absolutely gorgeous. We go nearly every Friday lunch time and they are always  great and very tasty indeed! As well as great food, you will always get great service too. They recognised me from early on and always ask after the people I buy the OAP meals for. Genuinely really lovely staff work there. Thank you for all your hard work & lovely smiles!

Been under new ownership for a short while. New people really know what they're doing as I rate this as the best fish and cjip shop in Taunton. Gets busy quickly but they serve people fast

I had takeaway cod and chips it was very nice its one of oldest fish shop around Taunton area last 4-5 years running by this guys they know what they are doing it was busy with locals   which shows how good they are

Amazing fish and chips yes. Was a little sad as ordered 2 large cod 1 chips . I can of drink. 2 tarta sauce. Charged 17.50 . Thinking no more as fair price. To get home in bishops lydeard to find I had 1 cod. A meal I bought for my mum. She ate hers while I drove back. To be told 1 large cod chips , drink and sauce was 17.50. Ok. I missed my meal. And drove back twice. But never ever going here again as large cod and chips with drink is 17.50 or I just been ripped off
