We have been here numerous times over the years for various family celebrations before lock down. This was our first time back since lock down and it was just as amazing. There was 3 of us, starters of potted shrimps- lovely. 3 Fillet steaks we ask for Rare they are 9oz nice big steaks and they came perfectly cooked no gristle no waste tasted amazing. Plenty of lovely mash, fries and veg. Hubby had the apple pie said best he had ever had. The staff are attentive and friendly.
It isn't what it used to be. The staff are fantastic and service is quick. The food is good but not as amazing as it once was. Steak was cooked perfectly but the sauce was too thin for my liking and the mash potato reminded me of Smash. Would I go again? Yes but it wouldn't be the first place I would think of going around here.
Had a meal with my family here today 23/10/22 for our Daughters birthday. What can i say apart from, fantastic. Staff were lovely and very helpful, we were slightly late for the meal, as we live 45 minutes away, and M6 is painful, but they didn't rush us and totally made us feel welcome. Food was lovely. I would definitely recommend. And will hopefully return.
Great food. We had steak and it was cooked to perfection. Choice of starters I excellent. So many to choose from so we ordered four and shared. Will definitely be back.
We called here on Sunday for lunch Amanda, the manager could not have been more welcoming and the bar staff were equally lovely. I had my 2 granddaughters with me who shared chicken and chips. The chicken was coated in a beer batter and was lovely. It came on 2 plates already shared out for them. I was going to have the Sunday lunch that looked fantastic but was taken by the tornado rossini that was totally divine. I certainly look forward to returning

The 3rd time in a couple of years we have been to this restaurant but it doesn't improve. My favourite dish, the fillet steak Rossini had been disappointing for the 3rd time, instead of a nice thick Madera sauce once again it was like gravy. Priced at £26 on their website it was actually £31. The wife who always has a chicken dish was again also disappointed. Nowhere near as good as the previous owners. We won't give you another chance.
Lovely atmosphere, freindly attentive staff. Food absolutely delicious. Would recommend this restuarant. Deffinately wold go again. Thank you.
We last went here about 6 plus years ago and it was really good. However, owners change. We went this evening as a party of four. It was really cold. I never took my coat off. The waitress did apologize for the cold as we entered, but it didn't improve. We had steaks and 3 of them were inedable. One should of been pink but there was no pink to be seen. The only positives are the mash, veg and chicken. It is so over priced. I don't mind paying over the odds if the food is good but this really wasn't worth it. Even the lady on the next table left alot of her steak. It was full of gristle, tough and inedable. The waitress knew we weren't happy, as the plates had a lot of steak left over on them and she never asked us, if everything was ok. Don't waste your money, and if you do, take a blanket. Tip for blue mountain, either change your chef or buy your steaks from somewhere else.
