Amazing market. Some of the produce can be slightly expensive and a little bit under ripe overripe so make sure you know what you’re getting.
I am never going back to that shop. They must be new owners. My mother and most of my family send friends, had been going there since the '80s. They robbed me £50 via my Touch Card, and I didn't notice until a few days later, when I went into my account. By that time I couldn't find the receipt. I only bought 2 items. Oh yes, I did go back but without my receipt, obviously, I had no case A couple of friends, said that the same thing has happened to them too, and they never went back. What hurts is; I am usually so careful, especially in those kinds of shops. I'm telling all my friends... Anyway, they won't be there for long. Why do I have to add a star?

I ordered at this shop. They cancelled my order due to restrictions. But still they are not giving my money back. I emailed 5 times, I called them… they said they were going to call back. That never happened. It’s been 3 weeks now, and I still don’t have my money. This is not how you are supposed to treat your customers. Not delivering the order and keeping the money is called stealing!!!!
Staff attitude improved as most simply don't converse with you. Prices are exorbitant on some items
I keep getting phonecalls from them. When I answer they hang up. I phone back and no one can understand English properly.
Driven a long way to get Caribbean food produce shame could not get where i live but once a year or every few years will travel, as a pleasant treat.
Clean shop, prices are reasonable. Fresh food always in a good condition and you can get a variety of herbal teas, hardo bread and bun. Shop was empty for a Saturday bank holiday weekend. May have something to do with covid19 variant.
I have ordered from this company repeatedly over a period of many months. A few weeks ago I received an order half the weight that it should of been and missing two items approx £10 in value. I called Blue Mountain Peak immediately. I was initially passed between staff with one finally telling me that they would call me back in 30 minutes. I left my mobile number and order number and yet received no call back. I followed the call with an email many hours later and as of a few weeks ago I have not yet received a response. I understand I would have been unlikely to receive a response in the current circumstances however this was not the case when it initially occurred. I would like a refund or my missing items please.
Had experience of both online and in store. Had a little trouble with my online order, with the wrong goods being dispatched, but they sorted it out really promptly once they were aware with next day delivery at no charge. In store the service is good. You can see how popular the place is judging by the number of people in there on a Sunday just before closing.
