Great food and quick service on Saturday afternoon. We both had burgers which were tasty and the pepper chips were served hot, crispy and crunchy, not drowned in fat - the way chips should be. Best chips I've eaten in Britain.
A tasty stop by the seaside. Lovely treats, good hot chocolate and fantastic, helpful staff. If you're sitting outside or by the windows it's a spectacular view down the coastline.
Food was really good, service was friendly and efficient, with a good choice of beer. I had the seafood chowder and calamari. We would definitely eat here again if we are visiting Scarborough again.
The place was busy. There were no clean tables so we had to move dirty plates in order to be seated. We placed our order for two BLTs served cold and two teas I ordered a garlic bread, but they'd run out - it was around 1pm. The food turned up after 25 mins, when wed almost finished our drinks. The staff member apologised for the wait. The BLTs had some crisps and a lump of chopped iceberg. I'm assuming that this is what they call a mixed leaf salad!? Certainly not what I'd call it. It was not what I'd expect for £6.50 for a sandwich. When I was leaving I visited the gents. The urinals were busy so I used the cubicle. It was gross. The bowl was covered in dried vomit. I left, as did the gentleman who was waiting. I checked the sign on the door showing it had been inspected hourly, by DebiG, so I don't understand how it had allowed to be left like this. I've been here before and it's always better than this. I'm not sure I'll be going again any time soon.
Ooh what a night, ate and drank here pre concert and dined after. Very warm welcoming staff even when a concert was on being held up the road, so really busy. Would highly recommend without a doubt a the view is nice as well.

This place is great! Lovely :in house' cocktails - OK, they ran out of a key ingredient and usually this would annoy me but the bar manager more than made up for it!
This was the first time we had visited the bar in winter, but it will not be the last. The bar was quiet, but still felt that it has a good atmosphere, with the music and friendly staff. The food we had as very tasty and both the quality and quantity was good. The prices are sensible. The staff were very friendly and welcoming The tables and chairs were all clean and it was great to sit by the window to watch the world go by
The ladies behind the bar were lovely. Our food was delivered to our table quickly and the Fish and Chips were lovely . The beer was cold and a gentleman who knew we wanted to sit upstairs went up before us , and promptly switched on the world cup having heard that I wanted to watch a game. What more could I ask for . Superb service making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the point of leaving . Thank you . We would both highly recommend try this place great atmosphere lovely people and food.
Very nice breakfast at a decent price with a stunning view. Staff were friendly and efficient
